Janis Hyatt Obituary

Janis Diana Hyatt, 74, of Gulf Breeze, FL. passed away at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, FL on May 4th, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Esther Siegel, her husband, Joseph Hyatt, son Steven Hyatt, and daughter, Holly McKenzie. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Middleton and spouse, Brian Middleton, grandson Zachary McKenzie, granddaughter, Brynn Middleton, and grandson Evan Middleton. Janis was born in Baltimore, MD. She was a beautician for most of her life, but her finest trait was her hospitality and ability to serve and care for those in need. Her friendly smile and bright personality will be sorely missed by her family and all of those that were touched by her selflessness. The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home,Inc. 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Additional visitation will be held at Kenwood Presbyterian Church, 4601 Fullerton Avenue, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 9:30am until 10:30am at which time funeral services will begin at 10:30am. Interment will be in Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (www. ocrahope. org) in honor of her daughter, Holly McKenzie.
