Syble Marie Stanley, 91, of Lumberton, Texas passed away quietly surrounded by her family, Tuesday night, February 27, 2024, at Silsbee Oaks nursing facility in Silsbee, Texas.Born in Kirbyville, Texas on October 10, 1932, Syble was the youngest daughter of John Samuel Singletary and Laura Zelma Smith. She spent her younger years growing up in the Magnolia Springs community where she attended Temple Springs and Kirbyville schools. After graduation, she attended Chenier Business College in Houston, Texas where she completed a secretarial program.She married Billie Burke Stanley of Buna, Texas on July 25,1952 in Texas City, Texas and lived for many years in Port Neches, Texas. In 1970, Billie took a job on the island of St. Croix, USVI and they lived there for five years. Returning to the mainland, they then traveled and worked in several other locations across the central United States eventually retiring back in Buna.Syble was a believer of the Southern Baptist faith and last attended services at Lumberton First Baptist Church in Lumberton, after attending Central Baptist Church in Buna for many years.She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Chester Morgan, her husband of sixty years, sister Wanda Louise Akins, brother-in-law Bronson Akins and niece Janice Marie Akins Doise.Syble is survived by her daughter Paula Stanley Girolamo and husband Kerry of Lumberton, Texas; granddaughter Karla Girolamo Hayes and husband Tony of Lumberton, Texas; grandson Brian Girolamo of Port Neches, Texas; great grandchildren Kylun and Madelyn Girolamo and Drew, Reid and Brynn Hayes; nephews John Akins and wife Elaine of Port Neches, Texas and Alan Akins and wife Jane of Lumberton, Texas.Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2024 with visitation beginning at 1pm and services beginning at 3pm at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna, Texas. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Lonny Lee Williams, 68, of Silsbee died Sunday, February 25, 2024 in Silsbee.Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 29, at Bleakwood Cemetery under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.  Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to service.Lonnie was born Oct. 30, 1955 in Kirbyville to Sam Williams and Billy Rene (Smith) Williams.  He was a retired mechanic.Survivors include his children, Brandon Kimmel, Taylor Williams, Cody Williams, Craig Mitchell Williams, Montana Williams, Susie Bishop, and Heather Monk; sisters, Becky Williams and Pam Simmons; and brother, Chris Stephenson.

Burial will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred, Texas. Ricky was born July 6, 1956. He resided in Silsbee, Texas and worked as a boilermaker. Ricky is survived by his sisters, Billie Wilson of Fred, Texas and Gail Essary of Spurger, Texas; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
