"Janice Lynn (Diener) Boldt Janice (Jan) Lynn Boldt, 72, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023 with her brother and his wife at her side. Jan was residing at Lakeshore Assisted Living facility in Minocqua, WI, following a brief battle with lung cancer. Jan was born to the late Henry and Myrtle (Ernst) Diener on October 10, 1950. She was raised in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the class of 1969. On March 4, 1978, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lee (Weasel) Boldt at the Candlelight Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lee preceded her in death on December 27, 2008, they were married for 30 years. Jan and Lee lived in Sheboygan, later moving to the "Northwoods" - Arbor Vitae, WI in 1999. Jan was an employee at the Kohler Co. for 30 years, she then worked at Walmart in Minocqua. She was known as the "Shoe Babe" and retired after 23 years of service in 2022. Jan enjoyed a good "Korbel brandy old fashioned. " She also loved trying her luck with slot machines and scratch off tickets. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and snowmobiling. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Badgers and Packers. Jan and Lee loved living in the Northwoods while visiting local bars, supper clubs and casinos- making many friends. She loved spending time with her many cats over the years, and lastly her beloved "Joey". Survivors include her brother, Mark (Nancey) Diener of Arbor Vitae; sisters, Mary (Gary) Morrelle of Sheboygan and Cathy (Jim Maratik) Nyhuis of Sheboygan; step children, Robert (Chris) Boldt of Sheboygan and their children, Halle and Benjamin, and Jason Boldt of Sheboygan Falls; nieces, Christine (Joe) DeMars and Jennifer (Tyler) Lee; nephews, Michael and Jason Diener, Daniel (Angie) Morrelle, David, Tim and Brian (Carley) Nyhuis; sister-in-law, Gail Culp of Frisco, CO; cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Myrtle; beloved husband, Lee; in laws, George and Dorothea Boldt; brother-in-law, Ronald Nyhuis and sister-in-law, Kay Paladi. Jan's family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank you" to all the staff at the Lake Shore Assisted Living facility in Minocqua and Compassus Hospice for their compassionate care provided to Jan. Following Jan's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. "
