A visitation in her honor will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Janet was born to the late Bill and Clara Burroughs on June 14, 1956 in Waco, Texas. She grew up on a farm with one older sister, Lana, and graduated from University High School. Janet married the love of her life, David Saulters, on February 9, 1978, and they built a wonderful life full of children and grandchildren. Janet had a varied career over her lifetime and even ran her own business on a few occasions. She got the opportunity to travel the world and visit many countries through her work, and she enjoyed learning about the various cultures. Later in life, Janet completed her associates degree in Business, which was an accomplishment for which she was very proud. Janet's most treasured accomplishment was her family. There is nothing she would rather do than to spend a day by the pool with all of the people she loved. She was the rock of the family, always making sure that everyone was taken care of. She instilled the values of hard work and unwavering support to her children and grandchildren. There are so many great memories that allow us to hold on to her each and every day, knowing that only a soul as strong as hers could leave behind such an influence. She had a fierce love for God and always strived to make sure her family had a strong relationship with God as well. Janet leaves behind her husband, David Saulters Sr. She also leaves behind her children, David Saulters Jr. and Katrina Linthicum, and her step-son, Jason Saulters; her grandchildren who she also had the opportunity to raise as a mother would, Dylan Saulters and Triniti Saulters; her other grandchildren Cooper Linthicum, Beckett Linthicum, Lyla Saulters, Carter Saulters, and Luke Saulters. Each day that passes brings us all one day closer to the Lord who awaits us with our loved ones that have passed. Not knowing what's in store for tomorrow, Janet would encourage everyone to love their family and love God.
