Janet E. (Weister) Cantola-Morrison, of Harrison City, peacefully passed on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family. Janet was the loving mother of Nanette Tedesco, Patrick Cantola, Bruce Cantola, and Mark (Christine) Cantola. She was the adoring grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 6. She is also survived by her siblings, Terry (Marie) Weister and Weyne (Karen) Weister, nieces, nephews, and all who loved her. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Brooks and Virginia (Detman) Weister, and brother, Clarence (late Judy) Weister. Janet enjoyed sewing and worked as a seamstress for many years with her specialty being custom window treatments. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved baking pies, but favorite was birthday cakes. She enjoyed going to the Outer Banks. Family was everything to her and she loved the time she got to spend with them. Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, for 2pm to 7pm in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc. , 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. Elton C. "Sonny" Barton, 88, of Harrison City, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Born on November 10, 1934, he was the son of the late Elton and Mildred (Kistler) Barton. Sonny served our country with the United States Air Force, and then spent his working years at Westinghouse in Manor. He was a member of the American Legion Post #260 in Claridge, as well as a lifetime member of the Harrison City Fire Department and loved to spend his time either at the golf course or gardening. He is survived by the love of his life, Norma Barton; his children, Kevin (Corbin) Barton, Kimberly (Richard) Pierce, Kelly (Paul) Urban, Kris Barton, and Kurt (Barbara) Barton; grandchildren Kelsey and James Barton; and great-grandchild, Mason. Along with his parents he is preceded in death, by his daughter, Cheryl Barton, and sisters Nelda Jenkins and Rita Bigler. Friends will be received Wednesday, November 1, 2023, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc. , 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. "Connie L. (Berg) McClintock, 73, of Harrison City, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born November 18, 1949 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Chester and Betty (Erickson) Berg. Connie was a member of Community Church, Harrison City, and was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha. She worked as a teacher for Norwin School District, she was a tutor for the McKeesport Area School District, and was director of the preschool program at Christ United Methodist Church, where she was well known as "Ms. Connie". She enjoyed going on family vacations to Ocean City, and was a devoted grandmother who was affectionately known as "Mima". She is survived by her husband of 51 years who she met in college in 1968, Ross McClintock; sons Craig (Shaunna) McClintock of Plum and Jeffrey (Jennifer) McClintock of North Huntingdon; grandchildren Benjamin, Tyler, Jack, Tessa, and Eva; brother and sister Chester (Judith) Berg of Elizabeth and Becky Berg of North Huntingdon. Michelle A. Roe, nee Lupachino, age 54 of Naperville, IL, formerly of Harrison City, PA, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 7, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born February 22, 1962 in Jeannette, PA to the loving late parents, Carl M. and Anna M. "Toppy" Lupachino. Beloved wife of James Patrick Roe, wedded on August 24, 1984, adored mother of Alexandra and Maggie Roe. Dearest sister of LeeAnn (the late Edward) Kunkle of Carlisle, PA and Carla Barbish of Jeannette, PA. Fond aunt of Heather (Scott) Shepard and Ed (Casey) Barbish. Michelle attended Penn Trafford High School and graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She became a C. P. A. and joined the public accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath in Dallas, TX, where she was a Manager within the Audit Department. Michelle had a strong passion for photography, and she really enjoyed taking family photographs, especially of her daughters at their sporting events. Michelle also enjoyed reading, playing games, watching movies, and supporting her favorite sports teams. She also loved the four-legged members of the family; Sidney, & Geno, (named after her two favorite Pittsburgh Penguin Hockey Players), Irish, and Jake.
