Our son, James Wyatt Davis, otherwise known as Wyatt to all peacefully left this world at the young age of 27 on February 21, 2024. Survived by his father, Jim Davis and his mother, Trish Davis, otherwise known as Momma D, Sister- Hali Fuquay, Brother-in-Law- Steven Fuquay and two loving nieces, Harper and Sloane Fuquay who thought Wyatt walked on water. Grandparents, Jean Teetor and Jimmy and Jean Davis. He leaves behind his best friend, Doc Davis, a rescue dog that he adopted from the local pound. There was never a place that Wyatt went that Doc was not by his side. Wyatt came into this world already making news by being the first baby in High Point Regional Hospital to break record weight at 11 pounds, 11 ounces. He lived his life to the fullest each day, loving all who came into his path. Wyatt had a way with people, his contagious smile and laugh lit up every room he entered, and he was the epidemy of a southern gentleman. He never met a stranger and loved to debate about life. Wyatt was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back even if that is the only one he had. He loved to joke around with people and get them to laugh. If you knew Wyatt, he considered you a true friend for life. Wyatt loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were his two main hobbies. Wyatt loved spending time on his family farm in High Point messing with horses and farm equipment. He liked working with his hands in creating things especially with wood substrates which is why he selected his career in Construction. Wyatt loved music- from old country to bluegrass to southern rock and loved to write music in his spare time. With Wyatt's death, this world has lost a true old soul, one who made this world a lot brighter in his short walk of life. His presence will truly be missed by his family and his friends. A memorial service to remember Wyatt’s brief but beautiful life will be held on Sunday February 25th at 2pm at Sechrest-Davis Funeral home at 967 Phillips Ave in High Point. Come help us send our boy, Wyatt off with a Yee-Yee, one of his signature quotes. Online condolences for the Davis Family may be www.sechrestdavisphillipsavenue.com We encourage you to go online and share a story about Wyatt and what he meant to you so his family can print them in a book as a keep sake.
