He was a retired finishing leader with Gulf States Paper. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lyon Winters; son, James Daniel Winters; daughter, Barbara Elise Winters Mills; six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at Demopolis Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Kelly Etheridge and Jimbo Ward officiating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Y. C. Duncan and Sallie Bell Duncan; brother, Lloyd Duncan; nephew, Gray Collins; and a special nephew, John Ward. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Demopolis on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Carl Williams and Kelly Etheridge officiating. Lisa was an accomplished seamstress, diamond and Alabama football. She was very proud of grandchildren, had a fantastic sense of humor, loved the beach, flowers, hummingbirds, and country music. She was truly the life of the party and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by; father, RD Hall; grandson, Aiden Bonner.
