James Edward Wheeler (Jr.) also known as Jim Wheeler passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, February 10th, 2019. He was born on October 17th, 1951. He was the only son of James E. and Martha E. Wheeler in Pocatello, ID, and was brother to his three older sisters, Maxine Turman (Leonard), Beth Anderson (Ron), and LuDean Yancey (Skip). His parents, his oldest sister Maxine, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins precede him in death. Jim is survived by his wife, Lillie Barleta Wheeler, along with their four children, Judith Melissa Wheeler (Lauri), Jason Edward Wheeler (April), Justin Scott Wheeler, and Sheila Ann Wheeler. Also, his pups, Aries and Coco. As well as their twelve grandchildren, Andromeda, Orion, Gabrielle, Elijah, Ethan, EmmaLee, Collin, Echo, Elizabeth, Ericka, Alec, and Ezra. He was everything to his family and family was everything to him. To him family was not just blood. A viewing will take place from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on February 15th, 2019 at Downard Funeral Home located at 241 N. Garfield Ave. in Pocatello, ID. Another viewing will take place from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
