James Daniel (Dan) Tully, age 83, of Spring Hill, Florida entered rest on Saturday, December 24th, 2022 at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care, New Port Richey, Florida. A celebration of life will be held for Dan at The Lodge at Timber Pines, Oak Room at 11:00 a. m. on Friday, December 30th, 2022. Dan was born January 20th, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank Morrow Tully and Mary Elizabeth (Ross) Tully. Dan served in the U. S. Army from October 1961 until his Honorable Discharge in September of 1967. After Dan's military service, he enjoyed a long and successful career in information technology management. Dan was dearly loved for his outgoing personality and kindness to all. He was an avid athlete and enjoyed tennis, golf, reading, fishing, and many other outside activities throughout his life. Dan will be remembered by all as a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Dan was preceded in death by his mother and father, Martha Pernice - sister; Richard Tully - brother; Dortha Brown-- first wife. Dan is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years June Tully; children: Denise Filley, Kansas City KS; Debbie Romero, San Diego CA; Gary Wilcoxson, Liberty MO; Tracey File, Hutchinson KS; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sisters: Priscilla Bacon, MaryAnn Biondo, Clarice Colway and brother David Tully.
