James Sneed Obituary

James Michael "Mike" Sneed, 62, passed Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at his home, after a long illness with cancer. He was the husband of Debra L. (Glazier) Sneed, his wife of 25 years. Mike was born December 9, 1960, in Boston, MA, the son of the late James W. and Julie A. (Enders) Sneed, Jr. Mike grew up in Ft. Pierce, FL. Mike was in the U. S. Army from 1982-1986 and was awarded a commendation medal for meritorious service. Mike was an educator-facilitator, where he supervised and trained many soldiers in the operating room at the U. S. Army Base Hospital at Ft. Dix, NJ. Mike was known for his dry sense of humor and was always willing to help everyone out. He was a wonderful and loving husband who will be always treasured. In addition to his loving and devoted wife Debra, Mike is survived by his loving step- daughter, Lizzy Whitty, a loving sister Moira Miller, and brother, Jeffrey Sneed, all of Ft. Pierce, FL, and a sister Niki Sneed Sauer of Tampa FL. Funeral services will be private. A memorial will be planned at a future date.
