James Simonelli Obituary

On May 4th, Jim Simonelli, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend passed away at the age of 76. Jim was born in Trenton, NJ and was a life long area resident. Jim was a decorated U. S. Military veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was an active member of the Vietnam Veteran's Association. Jim was a career mechanic and retired from Princeton Township in 2015. Jim had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and two dogs at their vacation home in the Pocono Mountains. Jim is predeceased by his mother, Susan Terranova; stepfather, Vincent Terranova, and his father, Michael Simonelli. He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Christine Simonelli; son, Michael (Tracy); daughter, Melissa (Jeff); grandchildren, Andrew, Anthony, Abigail, Olivia, and Aiden; sister, Louise; brother, Matt and many beloved in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
