James Elmer Riley, of Waynesville, MO, formerly of Rolla, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 79. He was born in High Gate, MO, on September 3, 1939 to Henry Riley and Ada Marie (Jarvis) Riley. James was united in marriage to Rosie (Ray) Riley, who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife, Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his father, Henry Riley; his mother, Ada Marie White; three brothers, Gene, John, and Claude Riley; three sisters, Mamie Cassidy, Lucy Crider, and Maxine Riley; half brother, Marvin White; and half sister, Nancy White. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes two half sisters, Mary Juneau and husband Mark, of Waynesville, MO, and Linda Bridgeman and husband Noah, of Cuba, MO; half brother, David White, of Waynesville; a host of nieces and nephews, other extended family members and dear friends. A funeral service for James Riley will be held at 1 pm Monday, February 4, 2019, at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Steelville, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service Monday beginning at 11 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
