Mr. James Thomas "Tommy" Myers, 67, passed away on April 19, 2019 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Tommy was born on September 17, 1951, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the son of the late Henry Oben and Olivia Blue Myers. Tommy was a Veteran of the United States Army. Tommy was a construction worker, a carpenter, and worked in pest control. He loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Henry and Eddie Myers. Funeral services will be Friday, April 26, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Cairo Cemetery in West Point. Survivors include his daughter, April Renee' Myers of Eupora: two sons, Eddie Myers (Lena) and Henry Thomas Myers (Mary), both of Mineral Wells, Texas: 7 grandchildren: step-mother: Robbie Mahan Myers of West Point: sister, Ruth Ann Nevil of Dallas, Texas: half-sister: Patsy West of Mineral Wells, Texas: Half-Brother: Bill Crowder (Cindy) of Fritch, Texas, and special friends: Gladys Posley (Willie) of Montpelier, Vesta Lee and Martha Brownlee, both of Woodland. Pallbearers will be Brice Baker, Joey Myers, Billy Myers, Chris Davidson, Todd Glusenkamp, Brother Burns, Billy Scott, Robbin Morris, and Rowland Morris.
