Murphy, Jr. , 46, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Lawton. James was born on June 6, 1976 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to James Earl, Sr. and Joy Maydene (Hurst) Murphy. He graduated from MacArthur High School in 1995. He enjoyed listing to country and gospel music, watching TV, riding in the car, and taking trips and he especially enjoyed dancing. He will be missed by all that knew him. James is survived by his mother, Joy Maydene Murphy, sister, Kendra Sue Rogers, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James Earl Murphy, Sr. , brother, John Christopher Murphy, and his grandparents. The cemetery is located at 1501 HWY 91 N, Denison, TX. 75021
