It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pola O’Fallon, who left us on November 25, 2023, at the age of 66. Pola was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and doting great-grandmother. She passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones after a valiant battle with cancer. Pola's life began on February 27, 1957, in Texarkana, Arkansas where she grew up and developed into the remarkable woman we all knew and loved. She moved to Pine Bluff at the age of 13 and graduated from Watson Chapel High School. She worked at the Pine Bluff Police Department in Internal Affairs, then later transferred to her job as City Inspector, from which she retired to become a full-time homemaker. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She loved the Lord and was a member of River Road Baptist Church in Redfield, AR and enjoyed spending time with her church family and friends. She also loved camping and fishing, and enjoyed crocheting, often making caps and blankets for children and the elderly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Setell Stewart; her brothers, John and Buddy Clark; and step-sister, Helen Frase. Pola shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with her loving husband, Jimmy O’Fallon, with whom she built a life filled with love, happiness, and countless cherished memories. Their bond was a shining example of enduring love and unwavering commitment. Pola was a devoted mother to her children, Jay (Jennifer) O’Fallon of Pine Bluff, AR, Kelly (Kevin) Richardson of Conway, AR, and Shelly (Jason) Anzaldua of Redfield, AR. Her love, care, and wisdom shaped the lives of her children, and her legacy lives on through them. As a grandmother, Pola was a source of unconditional love and unwavering support to her grandchildren, Autumn (Seth) Burdine, Austin (Katlyn) O’Fallon, John (Makayla) Armstrong, Katie Armstrong, Bailey Jones, Colin Garcia, Andrew Schiesser, Kory Richardson, and Ella Anzaldua. Her presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy, and her memory will forever be a guiding light for each of them. Pola was also blessed to have been a great-grandmother to Laelah Burdine, Ty Nelson Burdine and Fallon Ellaine Burdine, who brought her endless happiness and were the apple of her eye. Pola is survived by her sister, Patricia (Larry) Paris; brother, Danny Clark; sister-in-law, Shirley Clark; brother-in-law, Charles (Linda) O’Fallon; sisters-in-law, Betty Jean (Jr. ) Thompson, Katherine (Raymond) Baldwin, Richie Huber; step-brother, David Stewart; and many nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved dearly. Pola will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with everyone around her. Her loss leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched. The memory of Pola O’Fallon will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire us all. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P. M. Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Burial will follow in Redfield Cemetery.
