James Forseth, age 84, of Dilworth, MN, died Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Sanford Hospice House, Fargo, ND James Steward Forseth was born on August 12, 1939, in Halstad, MN to Harold and Adeline (Finney) Forseth He graduated from high school in Halstad in 1957 Jim served in the US Navy from June 1957, until he was honorably discharged in August 1960 Jim was united in marriage to Nancy Holgerson on September 18, 1965, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Amenia, ND They moved to West Fargo where Jim worked for Gold Label Foods, Fairmont Foods (Moorhead) and for the City of West Fargo Street Department, retiring in 2001 Following his retirement they moved to Leif Lake near Lake Park, MN, and then to Dilworth in 2011 Jim enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends He is survived by his wife Nancy, Dilworth, MN; two daughters Brenda (James) O'Donnell, Mound, MN, Tracy (Michael) Opatril, Glyndon, MN; grandchildren Aidan & Gavin O'Donnell, Scott Opatril, Emily (Ben) Randklev, Maggie Opatril and boyfriend Chance Bye; sister Judy Tunheim, Moorhead, MN; and also by his sister-in-law, Joyce Forseth, Hillsboro, ND; brother-in-law, Tom Vettel, Cummings, ND, sister-in-law Vicky (Jack) Held, Fargo, and brother-in-law John (Linda) Holgerson, Hawley, MN Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother Eugene Forseth, and his sister Karen Vettel Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10 a m in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, with visitation held one hour prior to his service Military Honors will be provided by US Navy Funeral Honor Guard West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center westfuneralhome com To to the family or in memory of James Forseth, please

Henry Bowen Deyle was born to Daniel and Katherine Deyle on Friday, November 24 at 10:15 pm. He was born at 26 weeks and impressed us all at 2 pounds 9. 8 ounces and 9. 65 inches. Our sweet, big boy lived a valiant two days. His perfect little body with our favorite nose, ears, cheeks, lips, hands, feet, strong legs and dark hair are treasured. His body suffered a grade 4 brain bleed. With devastation and the utmost respect for our son's needs, Henry was given physical comfort and allowed to pass into the next life. On Sunday, November 26, Henry was introduced to loving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousin, Adeline. He then was held by Daniel and Katherine and spoken to with love and support while his life ended at 11:21 pm. His life was short and worth living. It was our honor to be his parents. If we knew he would only live for two days and that our hearts would break in ways we never before understood, we would still choose to have him. Curtis Allen Dahl was born on July 10th, 1947, in Granite Falls, MN. After graduating from Moorhead High School in 1965, he attended Detroit Lakes Tech and earned an auto body repair degree. He started working for Glenn's Body Repair after graduation and never officially retired, he just took a leave due to COVID in 2020. He never returned to work as his health started to decline. Curtis passed away peacefully in his home in West Fargo on November 10th, 2023, at the age of 76. He is survived by his sister Yvonne Anderson; his children Jennifer Rudnick, Brandon Dahl, Amanda Brandt, and Olivia Campbell; along with several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death his parents Adrian and Myrtle (Wilson) Dahl, sisters JoAnn Stone and Sharol Filipi, and his brother Arlen Dahl. Matthew Howard Walsh was born June 29th, 1983 in Alexandria, MN to Jacquelyn (Haug) and Randy Walsh. He was baptized at Osakis Lutheran Church, Osakis, MN and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Matthew graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2002. Although he participated in many sports during his school years, playing football was his favorite. While growing up, he enjoyed vacations with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He also enjoyed his time at the Howard Foreng farm in Pekin, ND, his namesake, visiting, hunting, and eating great food. Matthew passed away on October 30th, 2023. In 2009, Matthew met Nicole. He pursued her until they began dating in 2010. As Matthew would say, "persistence pays off. " Matthew not only fell in love with Nicole, but her daughter, Jerica, too. They became a family on July 5th, 2013. After a few moves within Fargo, they found and settled in their home outside of Mapleton, ND. Matthew enjoyed playing with the dogs in the large backyard, and spending time in the garage working on anything that needed it, and sometimes things that didn't. Matthew leaves behind his wife, Nicole, his stepdaughter, Jerica, his parents, Randy and Jacquelyn, sister, Kristin (Matthew) Dehmer, nieces Sophia and Louisa Dehmer, nephew Sam Dehmer, father-in-law, Jeff Payne, sister-in-law, Jade (Floyd) Volk, nieces Ella and Hadley Volk, nephew Cooper Volk, and brother-in-law, Gage (Leena) Payne. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dog and best friend, Beav. Matthew was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Rachel Payne, his grandparents and great grandparents, aunt and godparent Rebecca Emerson, uncle and godparent Crayton Haug and godparent Terry Morris.
