James Ferguson Obituary

James Alvin Ferguson, 62, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at United Hospital Center. He was born on April 19, 1961 in Clarksburg, WV son of the late Perry H. and Virginia Madge Wine Ferguson. James worked construction as a laborer for several years. He loved to hunt and fish. James is survived by his two children, Ashley Willey and Timothy and James Ferguson; grandchildren, Conor, Caleb, and Paige; eight brothers and sisters, Jerry Ferguson and Kathy of Clarksburg, Kenny Ferguson and Linda of Clarksburg, Marlene Mayle of Clarksburg, Debbie Eagle and Clarence of Clarksburg, Sue Winters of Clarksburg, Judy Russell of Oklahoma, Carolyn Green and Dwayne of Flemington and Betty Young of Salem; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by five brothers, David Ferguson, Virgil Ferguson, Perry Ferguson, Marvin Ferguson and Stanley Ferguson. Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00pm with Reverend Richard Settles officiating.
