Celie Rain Montgomery, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2024. She was born in Pueblo, CO and was a long-time resident until her death. Survived by her two beloved children, Faye and Mason; her loving parents, Race and Melody Montgomery; Siblings, Ryan Montgomery (Kevin Decant), Ben Montgomery, and Morgan Kalb; Grandfathers, Larry Higinbotham and John Kogovsek; Uncle, Larry Higinbotham Jr. (Yvette); Cousins, Michael Montgomery (Mia), Roy Higinbotham, Darian Horvat, and numerous other family and friends. Preceded in death by her grandmothers, Virginia Higinbotham and Charlotte Stewart; Uncles, Mike and Ben Montgomery and cousin, Samantha Montgomery. Celie was a cherished daughter and a wonderful mother who loved singing, Yoga, reading and researching the endless subjects that interested her. She led a busy life all while being a very involved mom. Never losing sight of the goals she wished to accomplish as a parent. The celebration of life will be a private ceremony with only close family members and friends present.

Arthur (Art) Lamar Talbert, 75, born on October 1st 1948 passed away February 15th 2024 in Pueblo Colorado. Born in Delta, Utah, he was the son of Joseph Talbert (deceased) and Rita Nelms (deceased). Art graduated from CSUP after he was retired from the Marines and Truck Driving (32years). He was a member of many social clubs including the ELKS Lodge, Pueblo Bikers United and Pueblo Fraternal Order of Eagles. Art enjoyed playing pool, motorcycle rides, traveling and visiting with friends and family. He will be remembered by his contagious smile, spontaneous personality, witty comebacks, loving heart, free spirit, laughter, and stories that can keep you pulled in and entertained the whole time speaking with him. Art is survived by his children Deanna Sanchez, Denise Judd, Lloyd (Maria Valdez) Quintana JR., Leann (Kenny) Chavez, and Susie (Alex) Lamas; grandchildren Kenny Chavez Jr., Alex Talbert Sr., Ariel Talbert, April Talbert, Torrey Quintana and Gage Quintana; great grandchildren Josiah Talbert, Alex Talbert Jr., Amanda Talbert, Paul Matamoros Jr., Andrew Matamoros, Samuel Sintas, Demetrius Talbert; siblings Lonnie (Dottie) Talbert; and other family members Camille Christianson, Tony Talbert JR, Kayline Dee Talbert, Marcie Talbert, Kristina Talbert, Dee Dee Talbert, Kenneth Talbert, Pinky Smith and Many other nieces and nephews Art was preceded in death by Amanda Talbert, Trinity Talbert, Kenneth Talbert, Tony Talbert Sr., Joey Talbert, Eddie Talbert, Ramona Talbert and Irita Talbert. A visitation for the public will be on March 1st from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. A graveside service will be held on March 4th at 1:00 PM at Imperial Memorial Gardens, with a reception to follow at the Elks Lodge 426 N Santa Fe Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado around 2:00 PM. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Imperial Funeral Home in the name of Art Talbert or Deanna Sanchez.

Grisham; son, David R. (Elaine E.) Grisham; granddaughters, Jennifer L. Grisham, and Stephanie J. (Karl) Grisham; and great-grandson, Micheal Grisham. She is also survived by her sister, Peggy A. Reeser, and her children, Lori A. Reeser, Karen A. (Jim) Reeser, and Kenneth (Diana) Resser. Evelyn leaves many special family members and friends to remember her. She was predeceased by her birth mother, Jessie M. (Churchill) Rump in 1931; infant daughter, Carol Sue Grisham in 1952; first husband, Donald R. Grisham in 1967; nephew, Matthew Reeser; and parents, Irvin F. and Zelma A. (Beaman) Rump. She is also predeceased by many other family members. She was a proud member of the 1949 class of Central High School and loved helping with class reunions and keeping in touch with many classmates and still enjoyed getting together monthly for lunch with the few that are still in Pueblo. She loved living in different states while her first husband was transferred with his job and felt it gave her and the children a chance to be exposed to different cultures, things that didn’t change were her being able to be a Cub Scout den mother or a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. After she retired from Decibel Credit Union (now ENT) in Rye, family Genealogy research occupied many of her hours. Cooking and sewing were always favorites and camping, fishing, and hunting with her second husband were always special times. She requested there not be a Memorial Service and a private burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Pueblo, will take place at a later date. Monte Vista resident Lorrita R. Vance, 50, died February 24, 2024 at the Joni Fair Hospice House in Pueblo, Colorado. Lorrita’s life began in Alamosa, Colorado on March 9, 1973, the daughter to Robert Ira Francis and Lorine Lorell Claunch Francis. She married the love of her life, Cory Vance in Alamosa on August 30, 1993. They enjoyed more than 30 years together. Lorrita worked as a Social Services Director at the River Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing facility in Del Norte. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. Lorrita was a member of the Feed Store Church in Monte Vista and was a supporter since it’s inception. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Cory and seeing the countryside. Lorrita is survived by her mother Lorine Francis of Monte Vista, her husband Cory Vance of Monte Vista; her children Brandi Nichole (Jason) Ensz of Del Norte, CO, Austin Cory (Kendra) Vance of Idaho, and Jacob Cole (Yesenia) Vance of Monte Vista, CO; CO; her grandchildren Quierra Ensz, Sadie Ensz, Lyle Ensz, Caroline Vance, Liam Vance, and Caleb Vance; her parents-in-law Don and Gloria Vance of Utah; her siblings Irene (Maurice) Gibson of La Jara, CO, Albert (Katrina) Francis of Monte Vista, CO, Bonnie (Ed) Gylling of Arizona, and Cindy (Bubby) Morgan of Alamosa, CO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Lorrita is preceded in death by her father Robert Ira Francis. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Feed Store Church in Monte Vista. Patricia was born on October 10, 1934, in Michigan. She worked in the United States Government and was the owner of Pat Deli Delight and Eagle Ridge Event Center. Patricia enjoyed traveling around the world, entertaining family and friends, and playing games. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a member of Park Hill Christian Church, Women’s Auxiliary Groups, and Pleasant View High School Reunion Group. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; children, Kevin (Micki), Brian, and Kristin Rybicki; grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Hannah, Jenna, Kielee, Rachel, Nicole, and David Rybicki; sister-in-law, Angie Martin; and cousins, Kelly Agosta and Craig Agosta. She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. and Doris M. Martin; and brother, Terry Martin. Darlene was born on June 17, 1945, in Long Beach, Calif., and worked at Pacific Telephone in Alhambra, Calif. She enjoyed watching her favorite college football team, the University of Southern California (USC) during the football season, spending winters in Gold Canyon, Ariz., taking care of her little Schnauzers, cooking dinners for the family, and playing tennis and bowling. Cremation has taken place in the Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. The memorial service will be announced soon. Her final resting place will be at Pikes Peak National Cemetery. Boice is survived by the love of his life, his wife Rita; his brother Michael (Kat) Vajellos; his children Mary Joy and Floyd— also his stepchildren Robin (Tony) Espinoza,?Chantel (Patrick) Salazar, Art Garcia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews. The special love in his heart was his cupcake, Aubryanna, granddaughter. I wish to thank Boies Ortega, Joni Fair?Hospice, Sangre de Cristo Community Care hospice, and all other medical staff who took care of my husband during his illness.??Special thanks to my sister Penny, and her son Ron, and family for all they’ve done.
