Jairo Mendieta Obituary

Jairo Mendieta, age 58, passed away tragically Friday night May 5th after being struck by a car when he was walking home. Jairo was born in Bogota, Colombia to Jesus Mendieta Arias and Custodia Buitrago Dominguez. He was a loving Brother and devoted Husband to Blanca Liliana. Loving father of John Jairo Mendieta, Nathalia Patricia Mendieta, and Nicolas Rafael Mendieta. He leaves behind his grandchildren Natalie Mendieta, Adrianna P. Mendieta, Melanie A. Mendieta, and recently born Aaliyah P. Olmedo Mendieta. Jairo was a passionate man; who had love for many of the arts. His love for music, poems and drawing was his way to show his family and friends the joy in life. Jairo brought life and laughter to any room he was in. With his many jokes and beautiful poems he filled the hearts of the ones who he loved and who loved him most. He was the first to lend a helping hand and support anyone in need. He will be missed beyond words can describe - Jairo left us too soon but he will not be forgotten.
