Jackson C. Stanley Jr. , 65, of Ashton, WV, claimed his victory and transitioned from this life on June 19, 2022. He was retired from CPR recycling center and a master electrician by trade and was simply a "Jack" of all trades. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mote and Emma Stanley, Wildcat and Georgie Casto; parents, Jackson C. Stanley Sr. and Patsy; brother, William Jonathan Stanley, and one niece, Jaclyn Fairhurst. He is survived by his companion of eight plus years, Tracy Lynn Robertson; two children, Jackson C. Stanley III, Jessica (Kurt) Thaxton and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by seven siblings, Phyllis (Ken) Skeen, Barbara (Steve) Fairhurst, Tim (Bev) Stanley, Patricia (Dan) Landmesser, Tammy and Vivian Robinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, greats and great-greats. Jackson was known as a family caretaker and father figure to many. He was an avid fisherman, the greatest of all NASCAR fans ever, and may not have been a farmer but he died as one of the best of his time. His life celebration will be 1 p. m. , Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, where he grew up and lived for a majority of his life. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Gay, WV. Visitation will be from 12 p. m. until time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
