Audra Jacqueline "Jackie" Lail, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2109. Jackie was a native of Dayton, TN and attended Rhea County High School and the University of Tennessee. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Lail; her father, Bailey Thomas Trotter, Sr.; mother, Fannie Imogene (Sizemore) Trotter; and brother, Bailey Thomas Trotter, Jr. Survivors include her son, Richard Eugene Lail(Melissa); granddaughter, Lindsay Meaghan Lail; grandson, Richard Harris Lail; sister, Dianne Dabbs; brother, Edward Trotter; brother, Bobby Trotter; and sister in law, Jo Trotter. She loved attending University of Tennessee games following her "California son" Gary Valbuena. After her grandchildren were born, she followed Lindsay and Harris on sporting fields and courts across the southeast watching soccer, football, lacrosse, basketball and baseball. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28th from 1-3 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. There will be a graveside service on Monday, April 29th at 10:30 am at Chattanooga National Cemetery where Jackie will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Gene.
