Hunter Allen, 28, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was a member of the Word Baptist Church of Jonesboro. He loved being outdoors spending time hunting and especially duck hunting. Hunter loved spending time with his family and friends. His children were his pride and joy. Hunter had a smile that could light up the room as soon as he entered and his laugh was so contagious. He is loved and will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Daisy Allen and grandfather, Marion Franklin Perrin. Survivors include son, Gavin Allen; daughter, Swae Allen; mother, Shelly Perrin-McFarlin (Audie) of Lake City; father, Steve Allen of Jonesboro; brother, Camerson Cole of Paragould; sisters, Ashley Allen of Jonesboro, Shawna Wilson of Manila and Lauren Allen of Monette; grandmother, Judy Perrin of Monette and a host of other family and friends. A memorial visitation and service will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.

Born on March 17, 1955, to the late Willie Taylor and the late Orliner Taylor in Jericho, AR. Ocella was a loving mother to six children and an active member of the Open Door House of Prayer in Blytheville. She was preceded by her parents, Willie and Orliner Taylor, three brothers, J.B. Taylor, Willie Taylor Jr, and Eddie C. Taylor, two sisters, Ruthie Mae Lewis, and Betty Jean Bradley, and one great-granddaughter, Silver Cassidy. Ocella leaves to cherish her memory with her three sons, August Harris, Mario (Kimberly) Pittman both of Kennett, MO, and Kenneth Taylor of Blytheville, AR, three daughters, Kizzy (Jimmy) Harris-Cowley, Tracie Taylor, and Demetria Taylor all of Blytheville, AR, six brothers, Cleo (Yvonne) Taylor, Calvin (Willie Mae) Taylor, Oval (Trina) Taylor all of Sikeston, MO, Solomon (Dorothy) Taylor of West Memphis, AR, Freddie Taylor, FT. Myers, FL, and Chester Taylor of Louisville, KY, six sisters, Marilyn (Johnny) Aldridge, Dorothy Carmona both of Sikeston, MO, Josephine Taylor of Blytheville, AR, Shirley Taylor, Jackie Taylor, and Dorothy Taylor all of Louisville, KY, as well as 33 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Services for Ocella are scheduled with a visitation March 1, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR, from 6:00PM-8:00PM and the funeral on March 2, 2024, at Open House of Prayer in Blytheville, AR at 2:00PM with Bishop Henry Mays officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville, AR. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR will be in charge of the arrangements.

Kathy Ann Brumett, a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother, passed from this life on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Born in Jonesboro on July 28, 1957, Kathy graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1975 and went on to a successful career in the financial industry.Kathy's passion for life shone brightest when she was surrounded by her family, as her greatest love was her grandchildren. Her days were sprinkled with joy as she spent time working in her yard tending to her beloved flowers and relaxing on the deck by the pool. In moments of leisure, she found solace in working on puzzles, a hobby that brought her peace and contentment.On August 22, 1998, Kathy found lasting happiness in marriage with her love, Phil, creating a bond cherished by both. Throughout her years, she remained dedicated to her work at Cadence Bank, where she thrived in her role as General Sales Manager, her passion and dedication evident to all who knew her.Kathy leaves behind her daughter, Stacy (Charles) Slaughter; granddaughter, Mollybeth Drew; grandson, Carson Slaughter; and mother, Barbara Brumley. She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Brumley, and husband, Phil Brumett.Kathy's life will be celebrated on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 11 AM at Heath Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Brumley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.Kathy's spirit will always be remembered, her kindness and love forever imprinted on the hearts of those who knew her. May her memory be a beacon of light and love for all who were touched by her presence.

Mrs. Webb was born April 24, 1953, in Manila, Arkansas, and was the daughter of George Andrew Like and Mary Bell Virgin Like. She lived in St. Francis County most of her life, was a nurse\u0027s aide, and a member of the House of Prayer. Mrs. Webb married Charlie Webb in 1976, and he preceded her in death in 2020. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Webb Heckler, and husband, James, of Colt, two brothers; Noal Like and Wayne Like, both of Colt, three sisters; Cathy Walls of Heber Springs, Ruby McCrary of Forrest City, and Betty Middleton of Nashville, Tennessee, two grandchildren, Mary Catherine Waggoner and Samuel Lee Thomas, and one great-grandchild, Victoria Marie Waggoner. Kathy Jean Young, 70, of Steele, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.Kathy was born in Ripley, Tennessee, to James V. and Alda Jean Smith. Kathy was the oldest of siblings, so she grew up with a nurturing and loving character. She was very protective over her brother and sisters. Kathy’s boys were her world. She was a very caring and nurturing mother and grandmother. When Kathy wasn’t with her family, her passion was landscaping. She loved to be outdoors working in the yard. Kathy had a great sense of humor and could always be counted on for a good laugh. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, James V. Smith. Kathy is survived by her mother, Jean Smith; her two boys, Robert Young (Amanda Rorie) of Steele, Missouri, James (JR) Young of Blytheville, Arkansas; one brother, James V. Smith Jr. (Tracy); three sisters, Debbie Ann Bunch, Jeanette Lott (Terry), Annette Orchard (Tony); three grandchildren, Macklin Young, Mackenzie Young, Wesley Young; the father of her boys, Bobby Young; several nieces and nephews who all loved her as much as she loved them; and her precious cat, Thomas, whom she loved dearly. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Jonesboro- Herbert L. Wicker, 86, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born near Myrtle, Missouri to Nathanial Andrew Wicker and Vertie Lois Armstrong Wicker. Herbert retired from the Jonesboro Fire Department, as a Captain with twenty years of service. He also served in the Arkansas National Guard. He loved to fish and hunt, especially turkey hunt. He like to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert, Bobby Joe and W. C. and granddaughter, Courtney Wicker Bridger. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Deloris Wicker; sons, Herbert D. Wicker (Shelly) and Terry Wicker; daughter, Sherry Confer (John); grandchildren, Jarrod Wicker (Rimbey), Zach Albert (Kailey), Tosha Poole (Alan), Ryan Wicker (Eric), Madison Wicker and Vince Wicker; great-grandchildren, Henry, Magnolia, Sadie, Suttyn, Allison, Aubrey, Gavin and Cace and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Wicker officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with fire department honors. Visitation will be 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at funeral home.
