Antonio Allen Bradley, age 40 of Munfordville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Medical Center of Caverna. He was a 2002 graduate of Caverna High School and worked for Martin Lawn Care for 20 years. He is the son of Lynn Bradley and Arletta Maxey Bradley. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Author and Pauline Maxey; his paternal grandparents, Susie and Tom Bradley; an uncle, Nathaniel Maxey; an aunt, Angie Whitlow; two nephews, Chance Alee Bradley and Bryson Maxey. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Jackson; his children, Kayla, Izaya, Jordan, Zendaya, and Nevaeh Bradley; two brothers, Patrick and Chris Bradley; cousins, Brandy Boyd (Eric), Marcus Whitlow and Bronson Maxey with nieces, Dakotshia Howard, Octavia Bradley, and Janiya Bradley; a host of aunts, uncles and other cousins also survive. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM CT on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM CT on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. K.T. Ford and Rev. Jamie Maxey officiating. Michael Logsdon age 57 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Jan. 2nd at his home. He was a deputy with Hart County Jail and he owned and operated Logsdon’s Septic Service. Mike was a member of Immanuel Ministries.He was preceded in death by his parents Byron Logsdon & Wilma Rucker Logsdon, two brothers Ray Logsdon & Jack Logsdon and a half sister Kathy.Mike is survived by his wife Cheryl Ramsey Logsdon; two daughters Ashley Logsdon and Elizabeth Strickland(Cameron); four grandchildren Jocelyn Michelle Logsdon, Maya Grace Logsdon, Nolan Strickland and Lillie Jean Strickland; a sister Lois Bergenson(Israel) and his aunts Jenny Bryant(Buck), Carol Defries & Diane Grace.The funeral service for Michael Logsdon will be held at 1pm Saturday, Jan. 6th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. She was a caregiver for her husband Brad for several years. In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her father Fred Johnson and grandparents Sam & Mary Houchens and Dewey & Lucy Johnson, sister-in-law Kaye Johnson and a niece Jennifer Lee Threet.Faye is survived by her mother Elizabeth Pearl Johnson; a step-daughter Heather Williamson(Joey); a step-son Patrick Cook(Crissy); brothers & sisters Freddie Johnson, Teddy Johnson(Pam), Eddy Johnson, Martha Cummings(Douglas), Mary Lesa Buckley(Tim) and Elizabeth Ann Woodard; five step-grandchildren Kasey, Hayli, Meagan, Addy and Mia.The funeral service for Linda Faye Cook will be held at 1pm Friday, December 29th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9am-1pm Friday at the Sego Funeral Home. He is survived by one daughter, Laura Mobley and her husband, Jeff, Elizabethtown, KY one son, Mike Nichols and his wife, Stacey, Munfordville, KY; step-children, Vincent Kyle Sims, Munfordville, KY, Angie Fredell (Mike), Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Forrest Nichols (Kayla), Stuart Nichols (Holi), Olivia Holifield (Siah), Lisabeth Douglas (Phillip), Rachel Hogan (Garrett), Rebekah Mobley; great-grandchildren, Sutton, Lainey, Warren, Jude, and Shepherd. one sister, Judy Ellzey, Bowling Green, KY, one niece Leslie Whitty (David) also survive. Stephen Lester Scott, 80, of Munfordville, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Steve was born in Hart County. Steve was the son of the late T. Howard and Rebecca Lester Scott. He attended the University of Kentucky from 1961 to 1965 where he pledged Sigma Nu, and was in the U. S. Marine Reserves from 1966 to 1971. Steve was a homebuilding contractor in Lexington and was the owner of S. Scott Leasing, an oil and gas company. He was also a licensed insurance agent. He was a long time member of the Lexington Country Club. He attended the Munfordville Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Bette) Scott. He is survived by one son, Stuart Scott (Leigh Ann), and four grandchildren, Anna, Samuel, Ean and Meredith. Steve's wishes are being honored as cremation was chosen. Sego Funeral Home assisted the family. A private family service will take place at a later date.

He was a retired Command Master Chief serving 20 years in the US Navy, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Wesconett Lodge #297 in Jacksonville, FL, a member of Valley of Boston Scottish Rite Bodies, Fleet Reserve Association Branch 91, the American Legion Post #0376 in Ohio, and he was a Kentucky Colonel. He is the son of the late Gordon Wilson Lawson and the late Emma Lee Wells Lawson. He is preceded in death by one sister, Mayme Lee. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Doris Harwell Lawson, Munfordville, KY; three children, Shannon Luker (Jimmy Brannen), Hardeeville, FL, Gordon Ray Lawson (Renee), Melbourne, FL, and Amy Gardner (J. D. ), Magnolia, KY; five grandchildren, Raymond Luker, Amanda Luker, Jye Lawson, Abigail Gardner, and Johnathan Gardner; four great-granchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild also survive. Dorothy Catherine "Cathy" Goldsmith, age 72 of Munfordville, KY passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her home. She was a founding member of Pleasant View United Baptist Church. Cathy was saved on July 15, 1966 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Cub Run. The faith Cathy had was unwavering till she took her last breath. She had a heart of gold and she was the best friend to anyone that was lucky enough to know her. She is the daughter of the late Joe Henry Dennis and Pearline Sanders Dennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Goldsmith; her brothers, Tommy Dennis, David Dennis; her sisters, Faye Skaggs and Linda Rucker; great-nephew Dakota "Cody" Avery; a brother-in-law Micheal "Mike" Fulkerson; sister-in-law, Alberta Dennis. She is survived by her stepson Jonathan (Melissa) Goldsmith, her grandchildren Mackenzie (Bailey) Dennison and Ty Goldsmith. Her sisters, Brenda (Billy) Pannell, Patsy Fulkerson, Jeanie (Ricky) Rucker; her brothers, Ricky Dennis and Michael (Pam) Dennis; her two brothers-in-law, Philip Rucker (Linda) and Barry Skaggs (Faye); a sister-in-law Anita Dennis (David); her best friend, Jennetta Sanders; several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends also survive. William B. Davis, 66, passed away peacefully with family on Tuesday, November 28, at his home in Logsdon Valley, Munfordville. He was preceded in death by his son William Todd Davis, his parents Reo and Virgie C. Davis, a brother Rick Davis; mother and father-in-laws Herley and Geneva Childress and niece Lillie Gaddie. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Virginia Davis; one daughter Katie Davis and two sons: Ben Davis (Sarah) and Will Davis (Erica) along with four granddaughters - Addie, Sommer, Brooke and Gemma Davis. Also surviving are siblings Reo Davis (Pam), Tracy Sandefur (Paul) and Sarah Davis-Madden along with brother-in-laws Leo Childress, Vincent Childress (Shirley) and sister-in-laws Lelia Sublett (Jim), Melody Gaddie (John Wilson), Renee Defevers (Robert) and Mary Jo Davis. Eleven nephews and five nieces also survive, plus several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Billy was retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville. Listening to the radio on his daily trips to work made him at expert an music and despite his many illnesses he could still recall songs and artists and often sang for the staff at the local dialysis center. Billy was a fun-loving, family oriented, witty individual who loved telling stories, going fishing, watching horse races and Western Kentucky University basketball games. He was also generous with his time and often assisted his wife with community projects or his church and the local Knights of Columbus organization. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 2, at Our Lady of the Caves Catholic Church in Horse Cave. Visitation will be held at Sego Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, December 1 and again on Saturday from 10 AM to 11 AM at Our Lady of the Caves Church. Burial will follow in the St. Benedict's Catholic Church Cemetery at Wax. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Knights of Columbus organization or the Hart County Historical Society.
