Isabelle Sweeney Obituary

Sweeney, Isabelle A. (nee Pfeffer) April 20, 2023, age 102. Isabelle was born in 1920 to Paul and Elizabeth Pfeffer of Caledonia. She moved to Hales Corners in 1942 when she met and married Edward Sweeney. They owned and operated the Silver Dollar Bar in Hales Corners for 36 years. Dear mother of Duane (Judy), Dennis (Jayne), Terry (Lisa) and Judith (Chris Hildreth), nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was active with the La Casa meal site program in Waukesha and the meal program at St. Mary's in Hales Corners. Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband Ed (1996), all of her siblings and her daughter in law, Judy. Visitation Monday, May 15 at St. John Neumann Church (2400 W Hwy 59, Waukesha) from 10 AM until time of Memorial Mass at 11 AM. Interment Highland. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John Neumann or a Memorial Mass in Isabelle's name would be appreciated.
