Irma Lee Carpenter, 86, of Abita Springs, LA. , went home to be with the Lord in the early morning of June 21, 2022. She was born in Albany, LA. in August 1935. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Wiliam Acy and Susie Ethel Wells. Siblings, George W. Wells, Truvie Wells, Clyde Wells, Lucille Martin, Estelle Wells, Kenneth Wells, and Beverly Noble. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edwin James Carpenter, Children; Barry Carpenter (Rita), Karen Tero (David), Mark Carpenter (Amy), Doug Carpenter (Peggy, Steven Carpenter (Catherine), 29 grandchildren, 37 great- grandchildren, Siblings: Jerry Burdette, Iris Barber, and Marvin Wells.
