Irene "Boochie" Mauldin, age 85, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, but most of all she loved her Grandbabies Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Josep "Joe" Henry Mauldin; her parents, Louis and Jessie Murphy Gray; five sisters, Sissy Fry, Leona Morgan, Delores Jean Mauldin, Lorene Mink, Susie Gardner; three brothers, Donnie Gray, Buck Gray, Gilbert Gray and a son, Dewey Cundiff She is survived by two daughters, Delores Viers of Versailles and Nancy Mattingly of Rineyville; three sisters, Joyce (Dale) Bales of Hodgenville, Wanda (Ronnie) Ramsey of Sonora, Kathleen Edlin of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Amy Viers, Kimberly Viers, Heather Keen, Ashley Brown, Brittany Albrecht, Chasity Milby; eight great grandchildren, Steven King, Chelsea Viers, Easton Milby, Lily Viers, Bubbie Palmer, Gabbie Milby, Carly Viers, Rolan Albrecht and two twins on the way, Willow and Ellie Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, October 10 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro Billy Curle officiating Burial will follow in Friendship #2 Baptist Church church Cemetery Visitation will be held 4 to 8 pm Monday, and after 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home To to the family or in memory of Irene "Boochie" Mauldin, please

Christine Walker Creason, age 95, passed away, October 23, 2023, in her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 26, 1928, in Chattam, Illinois and was one of 13 children. On April 10, 1946, she married William Creason in a Green County cornfield. She retired from American Needlecraft and Curtains and Covers, where she helped make items for President Gerald Ford, Dolly Parton, and Elvis. She made countless quilts for family and friends over the years. She also loved to cook, making the best Italian cream cakes, fried apples, and chicken and dumplings around. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, William; her parents, Homer and Lula Mae Walker; a son and daughter-in-law, Alton and Jeanine Creason; and two grandchildren, Richie Creason, and an infant grandson, a baby boy Taylor; four sisters, Zola Fussell, Beulah Estes, Geneva Estes, Lentha Lori Walker, and three brothers, Junior Otis Walker, Eugene Walker, and James Harvey Walker. She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Laton) Kidd of Buffalo, Regina (Terry) Taylor of Hodgenville, and a son, Timmy (Deanna) Creason of Buffalo, and eight grandchildren; Rebecca Mather, Terry Litton, Shelly Litton, Sherry Kulinna, Sue Ann McCandless, Amber Chaudoin, Jessica Wood, and Kristi Johnson; 21 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Naomi Milby, Violet Druen, Ardithan Cooper, Lula Bell Bennett, and a brother, Marion Walker. Robert "Rob" Foster, age 72, of Magnolia, a man of unwavering dedication, love, and commitment, passed away, Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin, leaving behind a legacy of service, family, and cherished memories. Born on April 13, 1951, he touched the lives of many throughout his remarkable journey. For 25 years, Robert served as a dedicated detective with the Kentucky State Police. His commitment to upholding justice and safeguarding his community was a testament to his character. His colleagues and the community he served respected him deeply for his tireless efforts in the pursuit of truth and justice. In his personal life, Robert was a loving and devoted husband to his cherished wife, Rheta Benningfield Foster. Their enduring love was a source of inspiration, demonstrating the strength that comes from a lifetime of shared experiences and unwavering support for one another. Robert's devotion extended to his children: Greg, Robbie (Caren), Chris (Eddie), and Willie (Tracey). He was a loving father, guiding and nurturing them through life's challenges, and his influence will continue to shape their journeys. As a grandfather, Robert adored his grandchildren: Jake, Austin, Olivia, Kaleigh, and Dane. He was a source of wisdom, laughter, and love in their lives, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. In recent years, Robert welcomed the newest generation into his family, his great-grandchild, Olen. His heart was filled with joy at the arrival of this precious addition to the family, and he embraced the role of a loving great-grandfather with open arms.
