He loved to sing and would sing frequently and with his whole heart. His life was accented by a profound love of music. Whitney had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to make jokes and found humor in everyday life. He had a knack for making those around him laugh. His nickname "Whit" fit him appropriately because of his clever sense of humor, charm, and wit. He was a "Scrabble enthusiast" and particularly enjoyed playing Scrabble with his mother and typically winning with his sometimes-frustrating talent for finding high scoring words. He tried to make every moment spent with his children special for them as he had suffered the loss of his biological father at the tender age of five years old. His wife and children were his greatest love and the center of his life. Every day of his life was spent trying to ensure his family of his love for them.
