Inda Blakely, 66, of Centralia passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at Odin Health Care Center. She was born on February 25, 1955, the daughter of Wilma Killion in Centralia. Survivors include her beloved family, her grandchildren Lontreal, Terion, Saveon, Dynasty, and Lonnell; several precious great-grandchildren; her brothers Owen (Rebecca) Lasley of Sandoval, Illinois, Carlos Taylor of California, and Timothy Lasley of Springfield, Illinois; and her sister Delmar Hill of Centralia, Illinois. Inda was preceded in death by her mother Wilma Killion; her brother Maureen Lasley; and her children Lonnell Martin, and Lontreal Martin. Inda was a lady of strong faith and a member of the Second Missionary Baptist Church in Centralia. She was also blessed with a church family at Second Timothy Church while living in Springfield. Inda was a natural athlete who didn't miss an opportunity to play any sport. She truly excelled at track, volleyball, and softball, enjoying the challenges each sport brought and learning invaluable lessons of being part of a team. Inda found peace while working with her hands, knitting beautiful treasures she shared with family and friends. Inda was loving, kind and an amazing encourager to all. Those who knew and loved her will always hold comforting memories of her close to their hearts. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a. m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia.
