Lucinda was born on April 24, 1937, in Brownsville, Tx. to her
loving parents, Jose Martinez†, and Isabel Uribe†.
Lucinda is preceded in death by her parents; Jose Martinez†, and Isabel Uribe†, sister, Juliana Gracia†, and brother, Jose Martinez, Jr. †
Lucinda was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She will be profoundly remembered for the happiness and love she spread to others and leaves behind great memories with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 68 years, Fernando M. Rivera, her son, Fernando (Alma) Rivera, Jr. , Diana Rivera, her loving grandchildren, Fernando Rivera, III, Vanessa A. Rivera, Alfonso (Raquel) Marquez, Jacob I. Rivera, Isaac Rivera, Krista A. Rivera, Michelle Solis, George Guajardo, James, Guajardo, and her loving great-grandchildren, Adan Medina, Sebastian E. Sandoval, Melania Perez, Randy Michael Marquez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Public visitation in her honor will take place at Treviño Funeral Home-Southmost Rd. of Brownsville, Texas on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 2:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m.
Visitation resumes Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 8:15 a. m. to 1:45 p. m. with a Chapel Service at 2:00 p. m. to 2:30 p. m. with
Burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd. at 3:00 p. m.
