Herbert Thomas Rimstidt, 83, of Rockford, IL, died Monday, February 11, 2019 in South Beloit, IL from natural causes after a long illness. Born May 10, 1935 in Beloit, Wi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert and Lenora (Stephens) Rimstidt. Herbert was employed by Clinton Electronics for thirty years. Survivors include daughter Judi Rimstidt (Mike Driggers); daughter Renee Robinson (Tom Wendler); son Thomas Rimstidt; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many good friends. Preceded in death by brother Harry Rimstidt, sister Joan Burchfield, and son David Rimstidt. A visitation will be held between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL.
