Our precious and beloved baby boy, Ellion Noel Brown, 55 days old, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family, at Children’s Hasbro Hospital on February 24th, 2024. He was a cherished, beautiful, perfect child filled with love, laughter, and smiles. He leaves behind his mother, Ariana Brown, and his father Norberto Marin along with his siblings, one brother, Giovanni Brown and one sister, Anaira-Lee Higheagle. His is also survived by his grandparents, his maternal grandmother, Patricia Frias, his paternal grandmother, Francine Alvarado, and his great-grandfather Duane Howell all of Woonsocket. Ellion will always be remembered for his beautiful eyes and the eye contact he would make with his loving family, his strong verbal skills, his head full of beautiful black hair and his chubby cheeks. He was strong, very vocal, and very smart. He was two weeks advanced from the start. He loved seeing and hearing parents and siblings’ voices and faces. He was cherished and loved by his grandparents and great-grandfather. He loved his toys, and the constant attention his family bestowed on him daily. He was our sweet and precious child who has left us to be with God far too soon. While our hearts are broken, we know he is our angel and his soul, like all the souls of the faithfully departed, is eternal. May he rest in God’s loving arms until we meet again. We will love and remember him until that time comes. Services for our precious baby Ellion have been entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home. Services to which family and friends are invited to attend will be held in the Berarducci Home, 185 Spring St Woonsocket on Monday from 6-8 pm pm. Burial will be private.

Manuel G. "Manny" Vernancio, 67, of North Providence, passed away on Friday January 26, 2024, at Woonsocket Health Center, Woonsocket. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Manuel C. and Catherine (Trambukis) Vernancio. Manny was one of the 1st graduates of the RI Jewelry Institute. He had a long career as a plater in the jewelry industry. He was also Quality Manager at Blackhawk Machine Products and manager at Bailey's Pub for several years. Manny was an avid Boston Bruins fan and had a life long passion for music. He played the drums for several local bands throughout RI with family and friends of his. Manny leaves two brothers, Michael C. Vernancio and John J. Vernancio, one sister, Barbara A. Giorgi. He also leaves 10 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all family and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday Morning, February 1, 2024, from 10:00 a.m.- 11:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:15 a. m. Burial will be private.

Donald D. Heroux, 78, of Woonsocket, passed away February 25, 2024 at home. He was the beloved husband of Estelle (McNeil) Heroux whom he married August 3, 1968. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Hormidas and Florida (Lamoureux) Heroux. As an ambitious individual, he began his first job at Auger's Menswear and in 1969 started his own business, D & B Landscaping of Woonsocket, RI. Don was a man of deep faith. He was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Men of St. Joseph. He liked hunting, card games, inspirational reading, watching football, vacationing in Aruba and a good cigar. He greatly enjoyed date nights with his wife and spending time with family and friends. Along with his wife, Estelle, he is survived by two sons, Brian Heroux and his wife, Leah, of Cumberland, and Brandon Heroux and his wife, Cynthia, of North Smithfield; and two granddaughters, Alexia Heroux and Avanjolique Heroux. His funeral will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 314 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7 PM. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Timothy Sr. and Elizabeth (Fowler) Regan. Jim was the owner of Creatures Pet Store, North Smithfield. He loved all animals and enjoyed the beach. Along with his wife, Cindy, he is survived by their children, Kaitlyn Murphy and her husband, Devan, and Sarah Regan, all of Woonsocket; his siblings, Elizabeth Guertin and her husband, George of North Smithfield and John Regan of Johnston; his sister in law, Ann Regan of Johnston; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Timothy Jr. and Patrick Regan, and Barbara Gomes. Born in Woonsocket, RI. He was the son of the late Bertha (Rivers) Laquerre and the son of the late Rene Lefrancois. Mr. Gosselin worked for CVS Warehouse, Woonsocket, RI for many years and Dennisons Warehouse in Framingham, MA for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a love for sports, especially the Yankees. During family gatherings, he was the life of the party. Along with his wife, Mary, he is survived by 4 children, Lisa Lachapelle and her husband Bruce of Burriville, RI, Sandra Bonollo and her husband Nello of Uxbridge, MA, Leslie Desrosiers and her husband Matthew of Millville, MA, and Richard Gosselin, Jr., of Burriville, RI and seven grandchildren, Chantel, Paige, Breanna, Angelia, Paige, Matthew Jr., Richard and Alex and two great grandchildren, Alivia and Harper as well as his siblings, Theresa Desplechin, Rachel Gosselin, Joyce Boxhold and the late Gerard Gosselin. The last several months he was cared for by HopeHealth Hospice (Valerie Toure and Carol Bailey) who truly gave him the upmost care and truly cared for him. A Memorial will be held at a later date.
