Obituary of Helen Partridge Helen Loretta Partridge, 94, of Ashland, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 8, 2019 at her Ashland home. Funeral service will be held at the Ashland Community Church on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 3:00pm with Reverend Choi officiating. Helen was born in Chichester, NY on September 28, 1924 to Pheobe and Charles Jones. She attended Hunter-Tannersville School and graduated in 1942. On June 27, 1943 she married Edsall Robert Partridge in Ashland, NY. For 75 years, she lived on her mountaintop farm in Ashland, NY. She was a devoted wife, who worked alongside her husband on the farm, as well as a dedicated mother and grandmother. Helen enjoyed sewing, taking bus trips and quilting and was involved in the Ashland Community Church and Golden Agers. She was always willing to lend a hand to friends and family. She is survived by her son Edsall (Nancy) Partridge of Ashland, NY and daughters, Loretta Milhomme of Killingworth, CT and Lola German of Ashland, NY, 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edsall Partridge, her sister, Elnora Truesdell and grandson, Robert German. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ashland Community Church or Community Hospice.
