Helen Marie Walker Miller, 87 of Mount Pleasant died Thursday August 31, 2023 in the Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 17, 1935 in Keyser, WVA daughter of the late Harry and Helen ( Nellie) McMahon Walker. Helen was a graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School, Connellsville, in 1953 and received her Associate Diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse from WCCC. She was employed at Frick Hospital for 18 and then later at CVS Pharmacy for five years. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers. She is survived by her daughters, Cyndi Poole of Latrobe, Joyce Markiewicz ( Kevin) of Mount Pleasant and Jeanne Kisiel of Erie, Pa. ten grandchildren, Dan Busatto and wife Carey of Greensburg, Ryan Poole of Chandler, AZ, Lindsey Fillmore and husband Justin of Greensburg, Eric Halvonik and wife Salena of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Kelly Batchelor and husband Tim of Limerick, Pa. , Lauren Markiewicz of Mount Pleasant, Bryan Markiewicz of State College, Pa. and Andrew, Emma and Nathan Kisiel of Erie, Pa. seven great grandchildren, Elie, Adelyn and Bella Ann Busatto, Kinnley and Cameron Batchelor and Mackenzie and Brock Fillmore; one brother, John Walker and wife Anne of Fredrick, MD, one sister, Kathleen Zell and her husband Tim of Apollo; special friend, Brenda Ansell of Somerset; nieces and nephews and her close companion, Pixie. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Eugene "Bucky" Miller in 2010, "her one and only"; Daughter, Cheri Busatto in 2014; daughter Susan Halvonik in 2023; son-in-law, Joseph Kisiel; brother, Harry Walker in 2005 and an infant son, Richard in 1956. Family and friends will be received from 2-7 P. M. Tuesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 406 E, Washington St. , Mount Pleasant where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 A. William A. (Bill) Talucci, Jr. , 92, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully at his home on SaturdayDecember 2, 2023. Bill was born in Connellsville on January 17, 1931, a son of the late William, Sr. and Viola MacedoniaTalucci. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1948. Bill is a Veteran of the KoreanWar. He served honorably from 1950 - 1952 in the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania, followed bythe Army National Guard of The United States, with the rank of Sergeant in the 110th Infantry MedicalCompany. Bill was also a Silver Legacy Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the UnitedStates. After his military service, Bill attended the Pittsburgh Barber School, graduating in 1955. He thenjoined his father in the family Barbershop business, here in Connellsville. Bill continued the familybusiness for over 60 years. Through the years, he served thousands of customers, many of whombecame life-long friends. Bill was a man of great faith and a life-long member of St. Rita Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville. Formany years, he was an annual volunteer at the St. Rita Street Fair, always willing to help wherever it wasneeded. He was always very proud of his Italian heritage, enjoying Italian music, a good Italian meal, anda nice glass of Merlot. Later in life, Bill enjoyed golfing with his buddies every week. At 90 years old, heeven made it out to play a few holes of golf with his son-in-law and granddaughter. He loved watchingsports, especially football, and was a dedicated Steelers fan. He was also an excellent artist, craftsman,and handyman, often crafting and building many items for his family members. Bill was a devoted andcaring husband to his late wife, Rosella Capo Talucci, of 52 years. Most of all, his pride and joy were hisfamily, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of which were a big part of his life andalways brightened his day. In addition to his parents and wife, Bill is predeceased by his sister, Lula Talucci Phuntek, and son-in-law,Jeffrey Brooks. Bill is survived by his three loving daughters, Rosemary Brooks (Jeffrey), Janie Fiano andher husband, Chris, and Deb Lonigro and her husband, Michael, all of Connellsville; ten grandchildren;twelve great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and sister-in-law,Dee Callahan. The family would like to thank Fr. Peter and Fr. Julius for their many visits with Bill at hishome: Through their ministry and service, Bill was able to continue practicing his faith, and gained twolife-long friends along the way. Christian E. "Tex" Richter, 90 of South Connellsville went home to our Lord on Tuesday morning, November 21, 2023 with his family at his side. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family of the late Albert and Sally Flannery Richter. Tex served in the US Army Airborne 82nd Division, specializing in parachute assault operations, stationed in Iceland and Korea. He was retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. of South Connellsville. He was a lifetime member of the South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Connellsville VFW and American Legion. He loved traveling with family and his grandchildren and great grandchildren were his world. He loved to watch Westerns ( John Wayne) and of course, Elvis. He was the loving husband of 66 years to his wife Eleanor M. Trump Richter; loving father to Diane Trafecanty and her husband Joseph of Middletown and Sandra Hyatt and her husband Jonathan of Connellsville; loving grandfather to Jason Trafecanty, Pamila Pattillo, Megan Jordan, Christina Ambrisco, Breanne Bennett, Ryan Trafecanty and Carrie Groft and loving great grandfather to seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Christian D. Richter; three brothers, Albert, John and Homer Richter and two sisters, Ella P. Molinaro and Mary Jane Richter. Theresa "Tootsie" G. Foley, 100 of Connellsville, Pa. passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness, on November 17, 2023. She was born on November 11, 1923, in Dawson, Pa. the daughter of immigrants, John B. and Johanna (Kaufmann) Guldenschuh. Theresa graduated from Connellsville High School in 1942. During high school she enjoyed many activities, including the Coker Band where she was Head Majorette. Following graduation and in support of the war effort, she worked at Robertshaw until WWII's end. Theresa met the love of her life, William (Bill) W. Foley while in high school. They continued to date while Bill attended college and was later drafted into the US Army. They were engaged before he was deployed to the European Theater in the spring of 1944. They were married on April 24, 1946, shortly after his return from Europe and discharge from the Army. They were blessed to spend the next 55 years together raising a family of 3 boys and a girl. Theresa was a devoted homemaker, and always made time to enthusiastically support her children in their various interests, talents, educations, and careers. Theresa's family grew to include 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Theresa never missed a family function or celebration. Theresa enjoyed traveling after her immediate family reached adulthood. She and Bill made several trips to Europe where she was able to connect with cousins on both her mother's and father's sides. They also traveled much of the east and west coasts including Canada, and Alaska. She also made extended trips with her daughter Lisa and long-time friend Wynn Dilworth. Theresa was a faithful and longtime member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Throughout her life she was also involved in numerous organizations including the Connellsville Historical Society, the Chestnut Hill Cemetery Association, the Connellsville Hospital Auxiliary, the Tree Commission, and was a life member of the Connellsville Garden Club, where she held many leadership positions. After her family was grown, she became an avid gardener. She especially enjoyed raising flowers, with Iris being her favorite. Sharing her flowers with the church, family, friends, and anyone in need made her the happiest. Theresa and her late husband devoted years volunteering, helping on beautification projects within the community. She and Bill were awarded the 1998 "Greater Connellsville Chamber of Commerce Special Recognition Award", for "Continued Activity Toward the Betterment of the Connellsville Community" for their years of selfless service. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William (Bill) W. Foley, her 6 siblings and her granddaughter Kelsey E. Foley. She is survived by her children: William Patrick (Pat)Foley and wife Marta, John Bradford (Brad) Foley, Richard Kaufmann Foley and wife Jody, and Lisa Foley Leckrone and husband Thomas. Her 6 grandchildren; Whitney P Foley, Ashley R Foley Weishaar (Joe), Morgan A Foley Marsic (Andrew), Mindy L Foley Lemos (Travis), Megan K Foley Nilson (Storm), and Madison E Foley. Her 9 great grandchildren; Jack J, Hanna R. , Olivia F. William R and Ryan W Weishaar; Ethan W and Nathaniel P Foley; Andrew R and Patrick M Marsic, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her special friends: Carol Porterfield Hardy, who spent the last seven years helping Theresa with all of her daily and weekly chores and needs; and neighbors, Fran Swink, Michelle Porter, Valarie Carson, and Lorrie Culver. Theresa celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday November 11, 2023. She spent the day visiting with family and friends. She received numerous cards offering encouragement and Birthday Greetings along with numerous plants and flowers. It was a special day for her and the family thanks all who participated. Robert Joseph Harrold, 81, of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 18, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving wife of 59 years and his family. Robert, fondly known as Buck, was the son of Jim and Jean Harrold, born on September 30, 1942, in Ligonier PA. Robert graduated from Hempfield High School in 1960 and served in the United States Marine Corp for 4 years stationed in Beaufort, SC. Robert retired from National Hydraulic Inc. , where he was a longtime hydraulic specialist and machinist. Robert is survived by his wife Susan (Bradish) and his three children, Robert Harrold and fiancée Candi Hiles, James Harrold and wife Mary, and Molly Kosoglow and husband Dennis. He is also survived by his, 6 grandchildren Joseph Harrold, Andrew Harrold and his wife Rebecca, Claraence (CJ) Harrold, Sara Harrold, Lilly and Ethan Kosoglow , 3 great granddaughters Myla Grace, Palmer Jane, and Madelyn Faye, two sisters Mary Rudolph and Joanne Hartwig and husband Bill, and many nieces, nephews, and their families. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, biological father Robert Milton Brown, infant son Buck Brady, sister Sandra Harrold, and brother-in-law William Rudolph. Despite spending much of the last year in and out of the hospital; when he was well enough, he stayed busy helping work on the farm, mowing the grass, and visiting his longtime friends at Mongell Tire and National Hydraulics. He enjoyed writing notes to his family and spending time with his grandchildren and his great granddaughters who brought him much joy in his final months. When he would smile for nobody else, his great granddaughters always got a smile and a wave. Robert will be missed by Piper, one of his grand-dogs, whom he spoiled with treats and back scratches daily when she came to visit. Prior to his illness Robert always stayed busy and enjoyed flying his powered parachute over Scottdale, riding his motorcycle, and visiting Maui. Robert’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 10 -11 am at Graft-Jacquillard Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, where his memorial service will take place at 11 am with Rev.
