Obituary of Helen Mannion Helen M. Mannion (nee Spak) Passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019 at home in her 94th year, with her children and grandson's near. Loving wife of the late Bernard V. Mannion and devoted mother to Clare L. Mannion, Patricia A. Mannion and Gregory J. Mannion (Marilyn) and the very best Gramma ever to Trevor and Matthew Mannion. Helen was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Spak, her brother John (Anne) and sisters Kay and Rose (Don) Stark. She was a devoted Aunt and Godmother, friend, volunteer and employee. Helen was a dedicated and treasured member of the Roy Foss Motors family and enjoyed a long and robust career there working into her early 80's making many many dear friends of fellow employees and customers alike. Her years of service there brought Helen much joy and fulfillment and she continued until the very end cultivating those relationships - drawing on them for strength and comfort. Helen and Bernie brought their family up in Willowdale and made many friends in their various neighborhoods. She lived for thirty plus years in The Atrium at Yonge and Sheppard . She was blessed to share the last three years with the Delmanor Northtown family where she was an active and enthusiastic neighbor and friend to many. Helen remained positive and drew on her faith, family and friends in her last struggle with cancer and to the end could rally to share a meal, a party, a Bingo win and even a halting dance from time to time. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of many - may she soar and rejoice in joining those who left before her. She knew the welcoming committee was large and loving as she was beckoned on. May she rest in Eternal peace. Visitation will be held at R.S.
