Helen Marie Griffin, 82, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 3, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born June 23, 1941 in Marietta, Ohio to the late John and Mildred Green. Helen was a proud homemaker and Tribal Mother, she loved raising her family and having everyone together when she could. Helen always enjoyed long rides with her husband Robert, quilting, beading, sewing, and going to Pow Wows. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Griffin; children Kim Masters, Cindy Bair, Patty Fugett, Bob Griffin, and Jason Griffin; grandchildren Shaun Bair, Corey Sellers, Jamie Cook, Elizabeth Masters, Jesse Masters, Kyle Griffin, Jake Griffin, Nicholas Griffin, Landon Griffin, Matt Griffin, and Kristin Griffin; siblings David, Rick, and Jack Green; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her grandson Jeffrey Fugett; and siblings Mary Kulp, Sharon Anderson, Joyce Galleger, William Green, and Stevie Green. A graveside service will be held for Helen at 10:30 a. m. Monday, October 9, 2023 at Fairmount Cemetery 8500 National Rd SE, Jacksontown, OH 43030. "Amber Ann Dermer, age 56 of Thornville, Ohio passed away on October 8th, 2023, at her home. Amber was born on March 29th, 1967, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Larry and Janie Dornon (Saad). Amber was known as "Mama Bear" in Fairfield Beach, Amber was very protective not only of her sons, but many other "cubs" at the Beach. If Amber was not protecting someone, she would be helping someone. Amber gave her time and energy helping anyone in need, she would do anything for anyone. Amber loved working at the Beach Shop in Fairfield Beach. Amber made many friends at the Beach Shop, especially with her colleagues. Amber enjoyed playing sports when she was younger, she got the same enjoyment watching her sons Larry and Rodney play sports for the Millersport Lakers. Amber was an avid Steelers fan. Amber loved Mickey Mouse and loved collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia. One thing Amber enjoyed the most was going to Las Vegas with her family. Amber is survived by her husband Bob Dermer, her two sons Larry (Alisha) Dermer and Rodney Dermer, her three grandchildren Labreyah, Javian and Amauri, her brother Craig (James) Dornon, sisters Victoria Cochran and Shelley (Jeff) Boyer. Thomas Wayne Bartolomucci, 77, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born March 5, 1946. Tom will be remembered by family and friends for his tough exterior, caring heart, and for never hesitating to tell it like it is. Tom's perfect day would be spent fishing with his cousin, Rich or spending the day on the lake in Canada, where he and his family spent many a summer along with beloved dogs, Jack and Hannah, and later Eddie. He loved his Cleveland Indians and Browns, and of course, The Buckeyes. Tom retired from Lucent Technology in 1996. He has since enjoyed his days taking care of his chickens and bees with his wife Pam and spending time with family. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Ann, wife Maggie, sister Carolyn, granddaughter Darian, and Grandma Jude. He is survived by his wife, Pam, sons Tom Jr. (Jen), Jeffrey (Chris), daughters Brandi (Donnell) Body, and Jessica (Tejay) Carswell, brother John (Janet), five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many family and friends. Ronald G. Waite Jr. , age 69, of Junction City, Ohio, passed away on July 5, 2023, at the Country Lane Gardens in Thornville, Ohio. He was born on February 14, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Ronald G Waite Sr. and Shirley Jean (Myers) Waite. He is survived by his wife Paula (Canter) Waite; his children, Jeremy M. Waite, Joshua J. Waite, both of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Miracle R. Friesner of Logan, Ohio, and Promise M. Waite of Junction City, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth, Melody, Audra, Georgette and many nieces and nephews. Besides both parents and grandparents he was preceded in death by a sister Brenda Waite. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Church in Junction City. Ronald retired in 2010 after 38 years of employment as a welder at Diamond Power Specialty Company in Lancaster, Ohio. The family will observe a Celebration of Life service at a later date. She was a homemaker who greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia "Ginny" L. Richard "Dick" Eugene Hupp of Thornville Ohio passed away Monday May 1, 2023. Dick was born to Willard Meredith and Mary Frances (Calvert) Hupp March 3rd, 1957. He is a 1975 Graduate of Sheridan High School and Graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute in Diesel Mechanics 1977. Dick was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed working on farm equipment and using his talents to help anyone he could. Linda Jane Henning, 63, of Crooksville died in the evening hours of Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Altercare in Thornville following a 7 year-long battle with Dementia. She was born, one of six children to the late, Elmer and Lorean (Rigdon) Drydon on May 18, 1959, along the banks of the Ohio River. Linda moved to the Roseville area with her sister where she met her husband, Carl. They were married in 1990 and stayed by each other's side until her peaceful return to her Lord and Savior. A deeply religious woman, Linda was committed to her God, she practiced her faith within the walls of Cornerstone South Family Life Church in McConnelsville where she devotedly prayed and worshipped her Savior. Her family finds great comfort that she is no longer suffering in this world but is dancing in the streets of gold in Heaven. Surviving Linda in life are her husband, Carl Henning, her step-children, Rod (Teresa) Henning and Jason (Anna) Henning; her siblings, Debbie (Tony) Watson, Sandy Craycraft, Phil (Kathy) Dryden and Terry (Sherry) Dryden and her grandchildren, Logan, Dalton and Elizabeth Henning. Linda also leaves behind a very special friend and caregiver who never waivered in her kindness, Penny McMillan. In addition to her parents, welcoming Linda into eternal life is her brother, Dale Dryden. Paul retired from the Ohio National Guard; was a truck driver, he loved antique tractors, he enjoyed socializing, camping, fishing and always doing something.
