HELEN M. BROWNHelen M. Brown passed away peacefully at home in Massillon, Ohio, September 6, 2023, surrounded by family members. She was born in Canton, Ohio on October 18, 1936, to her late parents, Pete and Esther (Norcia) Housos. Preceding Helen in death was her husband, Albert Brown; son, Michael Whitmer; great-grandson, Jamey Herron; and brother, Anthony Housos. Helen is survived by her daughter, Michelle Bandurka; son, Jeff Whitmer; daughter-in-law, Debbie Whitmer; and sister-in-law, JoAnn Housos. She is loved and will be missed by her five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. For many years, she worked as a supervisor for the U. S. Postal Service. She was fun spirited and enjoyed gambling, bowling, and dancing. She loved all things girly, laughter and had a beautiful and captivating smile. She cared deeply for her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Helen touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Randy L. Endlich, 70, of Massillon, passed away on November 26, 2023. He was born on December 26,1952 in Dover, Ohio, to the late Kenneth D. and Ruth E. (Ault) Endlich. He was a graduate of New Philadephia High School. He was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Massillon and a member of the American Legion Post #221. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired as Sergeant First Class after 24 dedicated years. Randy also worked for Timken Steel for 30 years before retiring. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Kenny Endlich and Kevin (Erin) Endlich; granddaughters who lovingly called him "Pop", Karissa Endlich, Zoe Endlich, Samantha Snyder and Scarlet Endlich; his sister Sue (Rusty) Pittis; and sister-in-law Marie Endlich. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Catherine "Cathi" Endlich, his loving son, Sgt. Cory Endlich, his daughter-in-law Stephanie Endlich and his two brothers, Curly Endlich and Tim Endlich. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1st from 6-8 p. m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a. m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 4275 Lincoln Way W, Massillon, OH 44647. Calling hours will begin at 9:15 am at the church until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In loving memory of Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Taylor, age 55, of Massillon, Ohio who passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Cindy was not only a wonderful mother, but was also a dedicated professional in the emergency medical field, having served as a police and fire dispatcher for over 15 years. Her passion for helping others was evident in every call she answered, making a significant impact on the community she served. Beyond her commitment to her career, Cindy was an avid animal lover, cherishing her fur children, Savanah and Ziti. Her love for animals was displayed on her many visits to her daughter's farm where she found joy in connecting with and caring for the animals. Cindy is survived by her children, Jeremy (Angelica) Barkheimer, Sarah (Patrick) Barkheimer-LaGuardia, and Emily Barkheimer (Ryan Joseph). Her legacy lives on through her greatly adored first grandchild, Vivian Barkheimer, who will carry the warmth of Cindy's love throughout her life. Barbara Ann Danner, 80, from Mesa Arizona, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 3, 2023. Barbara was born on November 3, 1943 in Massillon, Ohio to Florence Arntz. She was a loving servant of God who is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Gerald Leroy Danner. She is survived by her sister Teresa Simmerer from Ohio, sons Mark Danner and Tim Danner (Jill), daughter Michelle Smith (James), grandchildren Cody (Sarah), Paige (Josh), Marissa (Sam), Christopher, Terrell, Danielle, George and great grandchildren Roman, Frankie, Amelia and Josie. Gerald and Barbara were married on June 6, 1964 and moved to Arizona shortly after where they spent their entire life devoted to God, the Church and raising their children. She spent her career as a registered nurse where she touched the lives of many patients and colleagues with her kindness, professionalism and dedication. After their retirement and moving to Mesa, Barbara spent her time crocheting and together Gerald and Barbara enjoyed off-roading in their 4Runner with a group of friends and spending time in their second home in Heber Overgaard. Barbara was a generous supporter of many charitable causes. She was a quiet person who didn't like to talk much but was an incredible friend and was there for anyone who needed someone to talk to. She was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 29th from 5-8pm at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home 1562 E Baseline Rd in Mesa and Thursday, November 30th at 10am at All Saints Catholic Church 1534 N Recker Rd in Mesa with a lunch immediately following at the church to honor Barb. "Together Again"Glenda M. Keller, age 89, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away in the comfort of her family at home after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's on November 14, 2023. She was born May 24, 1934 and was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Edna (Bixler) Kienzle; beloved husband whom she wed in 1957, Ronald R. Keller; infant son, Phillip Keller; brother, Edwin Kienzle and sister; Vicki Kienzle; and son-in-law, Scott Collins. Glenda leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sharon (Mel) Carl; son, Brian (Debbie) Keller; daughter, Rhonda Collins; grandchildren, Scott Collins, Ryan (Robi) Cucerzan, Melissa (Matt) Ackerman, Chris (Darlene) Keller, Lindsey (Dustin) Shilling, Molly (Ryan) Miller; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wayne Kienzle. Glenda graduated from Aultman School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Aultman Hospital on Memorial 4 South for many years before leaving and taking a position as a School Nurse with Growing Years Nursery School for 26 years, where she enjoyed working with the infants, teaching first aid and communicable disease education to the staff. Glenda retired in 2014. Glenda had a passion for reading and working on puzzles. Being able to sew and paint, her love for crafts was evident throughout her life and creating things brought her tremendous joy. Family history was important to Glenda and she could often be found doing research on her family's genealogy. Most importantly, Glenda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister and she will be deeply missed as her family honors her life and legacy for many years to come. Dr. John W. "Bill" Patt, DDS, 87, of Massillon, passed away peacefully, late Monday afternoon, November 13, 2023. Born in Bellaire, Ohio, March 18, 1936, a son to the late Albert and Mary Margaret (Corbitt) Patt, Bill graduated from Massillon Washington High School with the Class of 1954. He received his undergraduate degree in education from the College of Wooster in 1958, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University Dental College in 1963. He served as a captain in the US Air Force Reserve before returning to Massillon in 1965. That same year he began his general dentistry practice, the profession he truly loved, serving families and patients of all ages, until his retirement in 2020. Bill had been an active member of Central Presbyterian Church in Massillon. His professional affiliations and civic memberships included the Stark County Dental Society - serving as president in 1983; the American Dental Society; and board president of Western Stark County Family Services. He was named a Distinguished Dentist of Stark County, and served as a board member and later, as president, of the Massillon Heritage Foundation. In his leisure time, Bill remained a life-long learner and a student of history. He enjoyed traveling and fishing, being out on the water at Atwood Lake, and he loved flowers and working in his garden. Predeceased by his parents, and a brother, Ronald A. Patt; Bill is survived by his daughter, Rev. Kristen A. "Kris" Patt, of Willoughby, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends and former patients. Cremation has taken place in accordance with Bill's wishes. A memorial celebration of his life will be conducted at 11:00 a. m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive condolences one hour before the service, from 10-11:00 a. m. in the funeral home. Rev. Cynthia Theobold, of Solon United Methodist Church will officiate. Military honors will close the service, and a private burial will follow. Memorial contributions are suggested to advance the mission and ministry of Central Presbyterian Church in Massillon or the Ohio Dental Association Foundation.
