Heidi Shutey Obituary

"On August 28, 2023, Heidi Shutey (nee Brotz) passed away, at the age of 57. Heidi was born on June 15, 1966, to parents Patricia and Michael Brotz, in the state of California. Heidi carried that sunshine state disposition to Kohler, Wisconsin, where she grew up beside her three siblings, Mickey Brotz, Adam Brotz (Susie), and Amanda Brotz Zingsheim (AJ). She graduated from Kohler High School then obtained her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Charleston in West Virginia. Heidi went on to raise three children of her own, Olivia, Parker and Chandler, in Ohio. Heidi, later, relocated to Jupiter, Florida where she resided with her longtime friend and partner, Steve Perry. Whether it was through her traveling stuffed animal business (appropriately named the "Bear Van"), making all of her classmates laugh or sending thoughtful cards, care packages and gifts for loved ones, Heidi was always giving. She had a love for cooking, being outdoors surrounded by her favorite color green, and above all, cared deeply for all of her family members. Similar to her middle name "Starr", Heidi's memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of everyone that knew her. Heidi was preceded in death by her brother, Mickey Brotz. She is survived by her partner Steve Perry; children Olivia Shutey, Parker Shutey and Chandler Shutey; parents, Michael Brotz and Patricia Brotz; siblings, Adam Brotz (Susie) and Amanda Brotz Zingsheim (AJ); beloved nieces Lillie Zingsheim, Ingrid Zingsheim, Lauren Petterson, Emily Raught; and, beloved nephews Tyler Brotz, Cayden Brotz, Henry Miller and Adam Petterson.
