Hazle Hazelwood Obituary

"Hazle Lee Hazelwood affectionately known as "Boo"; the beloved son of the late Anna Taylor Hazelwood and the late Irby Hazelwood. Hazle was born on April 1, 1935, in Lunenburg County Virginia. He was baptized at an early age at New Grove Baptist Church in Kenbridge, Virginia. He transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2023, after fighting an illness. He was strong and fought to the very end. Hazle attended Lunenburg County public schools in Virginia. He began his career first driving for Diamond Cab Company Inc. in Baltimore Maryland and then working for a company Koopers, and Kaydon Ring \u0026amp; Seal an aerospace part factory in Baltimore, Maryland. The company serves customers in the aerospace, military, commercial, oil and gas industries. They also provide elastomeric technology to help engineers make products quieter, smoother, safer, and more reliable. Hazle retired from the company after serving 35 years or more. He did not sit down after retirement; he would hack (courtesy ride) in the Baltimore area. Hazle loved his family and friends. He loved to party, hang out with friends, watch football and boxing. Hazle was proceeded in death by his mother Anna, father Irby and loving wife Helen Hazelwood, two sons Lavern and Menard, daughter Judy (Angie), sister Emma Hazelwood, three brothers Earl, Woodrow, George Irby Hazelwood, great granddaughter Zoie, \u0026amp; Cousin Eleven. Hazle leaves to cherish his memories: two sons Andre and Lyndell Hazelwood, two daughters Vivian Ward, Gretcha Tyler, Stepdaughter Robin Walker (Monica, \u0026amp; Claudette) one niece Cynthia Renee Miller, three nephews Roger Hazelwood (Robin) South Carolina, Lander (Sofia) Clifford (Judy) Hazelwood, Colorado. One Aunt, Anna B. Hazelwood (100 years old) Pennsylvania, eleven grandchildren: Jon, Tony, Sharelle, Dwayne, Tyeisha, Lakeisha, Lil Menard Jr. , India, Britany, Lil Lyndell, and Rashard. He also has thirty great grandchildren and One Great Great Grandson Raylnn. He also leaves cousins Linda D. Hazelwood, Christine Jenkins, Gladies Evelyne Pendleton, Chester Hazelwood Sr. , and special friends the Brogden family, Edward Sample, Michael Malone and a host of friends. "
