Mr. James Carl May, 85, of LaGrange, GA passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Twin Fountain Nursing Home, LaGrange, GA.
Mr. May was born December 20, 1937 in Troy, AL, son of the late Roy B. May and Jeanette Gorman May. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Little May and a daughter, Barbara Jean May.
Survivors include his children, Janice Munzert (John), Tony May (Arlene), Bobby May (Jeanine), Neal May (Cathy), Kenneth May (Felicia), and Gary May (Tracey); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sisters, Martha and Terri; brothers, John and Luther; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 P. M. (EST) on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in the Antioch Cemetery, Shellhorn Community, Troy, AL.
