Harold Brown Obituary

Harold Brown, age 83, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was the beloved partner of Donna (Paulhus) Cardillo for 38 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond and Theresa (Iannucci) Brown. Before retiring, Harold was the owner/operator of Brown Excavating for many years. He was always working in construction or in his garden or in his yard. He loved to cook for friends & family and loved playing with his dog Ollie. Besides his partner he is survived by his loving children Angela Brown Perry and her husband Joseph, Regina Denson and her husband Matt, Cherie Brown and his late son Harold Brown Jr. He is also survived by his much loved stepdaughter Lori Cardillo. Harold also leaves twelve grandchildren: Michael & Kayla Brown, Brett Sylvia, Desiree, James Jr. & Tiffany Webster, Joseph Jr. & Ryan DeCurtis, Dayne Denson, Samantha & Isabella DiMaio and the late Tyler Souza and five great grandchildren Bianca, Jimmy, Julliana, Jack & Julia Marie. He was the dear brother of Gladys Dimeglio of North Providence, Georgia Cotoia of Cranston, Patricia Feole of Foster and the late Mildred Waddington, Raymond Brown, Richard Brown, Adelaide Marrietti, Helen Young, Joyce Nardone, Lois Gibree, and George Brown. His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 9:00 AM from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be private. VISITATION TUESDAY 4-7 PM.
