Gretchen Allen Green, 68 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the Pineville Community Health Care. She was born in Welch, West Virginia on January 16, 1954, a daughter of the late Earl and Helen Bryant Allen. Gretchen had been a homemaker, secretary, and school aide for the Bell County School System. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Green; and her siblings, Jerry Allen, Sidney Allen, Robert Allen, and Aubrey Allen. Gretchen is survived by her sons, Chad Green and wife, Tracey, and Jason Green; grandchildren, Hayden Green and Eithen Green; sister, Glennis Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Gibson presiding. Burial will follow at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Pineville with her nephews and friends serving as pallbearers.
