Frances Jablonski

Mar 04, 1935 - Feb 12, 2024

location-icon

Jersey City, NJ

After a well-lived life, Frances Jablonski (nee: Pastula) entered into eternal rest peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Peace Care St. Ann's in Jersey City. Born in Ostoja, Poland, Frances immigrated to the United States in 1957, residing in Bayonne. She was an accomplished seamstress for the Bayonne Fashion Company, where she worked for 35 years until her retirement in 1997. Frances demonstrated what it meant to walk by faith as she lived her life built on prayer and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Those who knew Frances best can surely agree that, of all the things she loved in life, she treasured her family above all else. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she expressed warmth through the art of cooking and celebrating family traditions. She embraced her role as "Babcia" with open arms, filling her grandchildren's lives with the guidance and wisdom only a grandmother can provide. Frances pursued many hobbies and interests, including reading, watching British comedy, singing, and ballroom dancing. Her green thumb brought life and color to her surroundings as she cultivated a bountiful garden that reflected her appreciation for nature. As we bid farewell to Frances, we celebrate a woman of immense grace, beauty, and grit whose radiant smile lit up every room she entered. She was predeceased by her dearly beloved husband, Eugene (1995), parents, Stanley and Veronica (Pietrzkiewicz) Pastula, and three sisters, Adela Naprawa, Kornelia Wierzbicki, and Czeslawa Pastula. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Elizabeth Zeller (Robert), two sons, Mark Jablonski (Carole) and Gerard Jablonski (Cheryl), and her grandchildren, Veronica, Jennifer, Christopher, Alexandra, Eric, (Stephanie) and Bret. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, February 18, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday, February 19, at 10:30 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne. Interment will follow at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Peace Care St. Ann's or the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. A Mother's Love A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring, come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . . It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . . It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . . It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . . A many splendored miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence of God’s tender guiding hand.
