>> Gloria St. Clair Lynch Gloria St. Clair Lynch, passed away on September 10, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Bedford County on April 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Robert Lee St. Clair and late Agnes Van Ness St. Clair. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Lynch and three sisters, Barbara Wood, Alma Lynch and Shirley Williams. Gloria is survived by three daughters, June Dean Wooten (Fred), Beverly Dean Grubbs and Rebecca Woodford Stone (Victor); three grandchildren, Kathy Curry Maggi (Ryan), Cherie Caruso, and Raymond Hunley; five grandchildren that she truly adored, Casey Maggi, Sarah Maggi, Donovan Caruso, Haven Hunley, Shiloh Hinley and baby Hunley on the way. Gloria retired from Rubatex in Bedford, VA and continued her career to finally retire in 1995 from the Police Department for the City of Bedford. Over the past 20 years Gloria and Wesley enjoyed traveling the east coast from Pennsylvania to Key West. If there was a trip to be had, she could usually recommend a shopping center in any city. They loved to take cruises and never missed a chance to jump on a ship. With a great sense of humor, she was also gifted with a green thumb and enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens. Gloria loved watching everyone devouring her pound cakes and banana pudding at family gatherings. Over the years she attended Trinity Baptist Church, Bedford, VA and Emmaus United Methodist Church, Moneta, VA. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Runk and Pratt at Liberty Ridge for their dedicated care of Gloria for the past several years. Ronald Boyer, 74, of Goode, Virginia died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Oakwood Manor in Bedford, Virginia. He was the husband of Marianne Boyer for 33 years. He was born Saturday, November 13, 1948 in Coshocton to the late Richard and Janice (Kitchen) Boyer. After their death his Aunt Jean Watts treated Ron as her own son. Ron was a member of Mountain View Church, and a charter member of the Forest Rotary Club. He served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam. He was a former High School History teacher. He and Marianne owned 3Cats Promo, Inc. After retirement he went to work at Home Depot and Lowes. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jason Boyer, and Nathan (Maki) Boyer; grandchildren, Madison, Libby, Ian and Colin Boyer; a brother, Tom (Jackie) Watts; a niece, Missy Guilliams; and two nephews, Tony and Andy Watts. Along with his parents and aunt, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Ed Watts; and a sister, Sue Wright. A celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p. m. Monday, November 13, 2023, at Mountain View Church, 1077 Viewpoint Ln. Forest, VA 24551. Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg is handling arrangements in Virginia. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2023 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with burial to follow in South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton, with graveside military rites performed by the Coshocton Co.
