Our dear mother, Gloria Alice Kallstrom (Knudtson) went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2023 at 87 years old in Bradenton Florida. She was born June 24, 1936 in Faribault County, Minnesota. She had many loving family and friends and is survived by her children, Dianna Nilsson, Vickie Ericson, Linda Eldridge and Corey Kallstrom as well as 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Kallstrom and husbands, Raymond Kallstrom and John Yonan. A memorial service is planned for October 24, 2023 in Bradenton FL at the IMG Academy Golf Club at 4350 El Conquistador Pkwy, Bradenton, FL 34210. There will be time for close family and friends to visit together at 10am, followed by the service at 11am.

Frank Gross, age 77, of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 3, 2023. He worked at GE for 33 years before retiring early in 1997. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and proudly served his country on the U. S. S. Wright. He enjoyed spending summers at Big Long Lake with his family, where he liked to fish, ski, and boat. Frank loved going to Florida for the winter. He was passionate about gardening, garage sales, and antiques and was always looking for a good bargain! He was also an excellent dance partner and an all-around "nice guy" who was loved by many. Frank is survived by his fiancee, Paula Voland, who cared for him tirelessly during his last years. He is also survived by his children, Angela Lord (Diana Faris), Brad Gross (Patty), Melinda Bolinger, and Lea Klug, and grandchildren, Lauren Gross, Sommer Bolinger, Danny, Charlie, Mary, Evie, and Connor Gross & Lucian Klug. Brothers Steve Gross (Donna), Greg Gross (Micheale), sister-in-law Sylvia Gross, and many nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his second wife, Deborah Gross; mother, Agnes Gross; father, Robert Gross; and beloved brother, John Gross. Carol Elaine Beppler Hampton, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 30, 2023. Carol was born to Earl and Phyllis Beppler on November 2, 1937, in Scranton, PA. She studied at Philadelphia Bible Institute (now Cairn University), where she earned the three-year Bible diploma, and married William John Hampton from the Bronx, NY. Together they completed Bill's nine years of theological education---she working and Bill studying. In 1963 the Hamptons moved from Dallas, TX, to Port Washington, NY, and there began their thirty-five years of ministry. They served First Baptist Church (now called The Bible Church) for 14 years in Port Washington, NY, and then 21 years at Church of the Open Door in York, PA. After 65 years of marriage, Carol's family expanded to include sons, Stephen (Joyce) Hampton of Enfield, CT, and Scott (Therese, d. 2022) Hampton of St George, UT; grandchildren, Thomas (Lauren) Hampton, Michael Hampton and fiancee, Kaitlin Pataroque, Reid Hampton and Lauren Lamb, as well as great-grandson Ezra Hampton. Carol is also survived by her sister, Joyce Howard, of Livingston,TX. Carol will be remembered for her faith in her Savior, keen wit and infectious laugh, love of family, especially that "new great grandbaby," delight in travel, and passion for competitive games with friends and family (often the scorekeeper and frequently the victor. . . Joyce Liane (LaRue) Ladwig Anderson, 85, passed away peacefully at her son's home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, November 30, 2023. She was born February 27, 1938, in Tacoma, Washington. She became a homemaker and worked for Marriott food service prior to retirement where she joined her first husband, Jim, traveling the country with their fifth wheeler. They became campground hosts and snowbirds until he preceded her in death in 2002. They were married 38 years and had four children. She is also preceded in death by her mother, Goldie Elliot LaRue and father DeArv LaRue and has one remaining sibling Roland "Ron" (Marcia) LaRue who resides in Everett, WA. In 2003, she married Orville W. "Andy" Anderson whom she was married to for nearly 20 years before her death. They spent many fun years together at Rincon Country West in Tucson, AZ, attending many social functions as they both loved to dance and socialize. Joyce had many hobbies. She learned to love sports, play golf, quilt, play piano, harmonica, sing, and grew to love and master the game of mahjong. But her most favorite hobby was spoiling her Brittany spaniel, Cindy Lou before she had passed on. She belonged to a local sorority in McHenry for many years where she shared a special sisterhood and shared many lifelong friendships. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 19 years, Orville W. "Andy" Anderson, stepdaughter, Cheryl Anderson of Kenosha, WI, and stepson, Kai (Debra) Anderson and their 3 children of the Woodlands, TX. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, James Ladwig and two sons, Mark (Terri) Ladwig of Bon Aqua, TN and Mitch (Michele) Ladwig of Hope Mills, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Stacy (Leon) Scott of Bon Aqua, TN and Mathew (Tina) Ladwig of Parrish, FL. She adored her twelve grandchildren, Jessica, Tina, Mandra, Jim, Melissa, Allison, Kelly, Stephen, Brittany, Alex, Austin, and Sarah as well as her 17 great grandchildren who will all miss her greatly. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Joyce was high-spirited and full of life. She was a servant of God and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Faith Presbyterian Church in McHenry, Illinois, followed by a brief ceremony at Ringwood Cemetery and a luncheon at the Rusty Nail in Ringwood, IL. Edna Mae Peebles Wenhold, 81, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on December 1, 2023, with complications related to Alzheimer's disease. Edna was born on February 15th to Jessie Williams and Floyd Newton Davis in Delaplaine Arkansas. Edna moved to Chicago where she married and raised two sons, Tony Peebles, and Carl Peebles (Tom), and had a successful career in real estate. She supported and cheered her sons on in their multiple sports activities. She moved to Sarasota, Florida to start a new life after her sons were raised, where she met and married her husband, Wayne Harry Wenhold (Turk) and moved into a house along the Sunrise golf course. In Sarasota, Edna worked at a bank and retired at Comcast as a commercial customer account service representative. Upon retirement, Edna learned how to play golf and played at least twice a week with a group of lady friends. She picked up the game very quickly and became one of the strongest golfers among her women's group. Edna and her husband were very active in their local Lutheran church and took walks at the beach weekly for years. Edna was known by her friends and family to be very social and fun and that she approached the world like it was her oyster. She dressed very classy and was always very put together but quick with compliments especially to friends and loved ones. She brought a light to the room with her smile. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Wenhold; parents, a son, Tony Peebles, and her sister and brother. She is survived by her son, Tom Peebles; daughter in-law, Joellene Peebles; grandchildren, Kristy Peebles, Trishanna Jones, Alexander Cox, Tommy Peebles; granddaughter in-law, Hida Saphija, and great grandchildren, Audrey Allen and William Spahija Cox. Kay Norton Severson died peacefully on November 28, 2023, at her home at Discovery Commons in Bradenton, Florida. Kay Severson was born on November 15, 1934, to Burdette and Fred Norton in Omaha, Nebraska. Kay grew up in Omaha. She graduated from Cottey College, Nevada, Missouri in 1954, where she became a PEO member. She later graduated from The University of Iowa, in Iowa City, Iowa, where she received a degree in Art and Fashion Design. She was a member of Tri Delta at The University of Iowa and remained an active alumna for many decades. Kay also pursued her passion for art at the graduate level at The University of Iowa. Kay married Richard Henry Severson in August of 1976 in Muscatine, Iowa, where Rich later became President of Kent Feeds. In 1994, Rich retired and Kay and Rich moved to Sarasota, Florida, and then later to Bradenton, Florida. In Florida, Kay continued her participation in Tri Delta and was a member of PEO Chapter FE Sarasota, FL and served as president for both organizations. Kay was an ardent sports fan and loved watching University of Iowa football and women's basketball. She also loved watching the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She had a passion for chocolate, wine, dogs, shoes and her faith. She delighted in listening to people tell her their stories, the more dramatic the better. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lieutenant Colonel Fred Norton and husband. She is survived by her daughters, Julee Jones of Nashville, TN, and Janna Jones (George Doig) of Flagstaff, AZ; her stepchildren, Lynne Severson of Bradenton, FL, Todd (Missy) Severson of Bradenton, FL, Brad (Cindy) Severson of Troutman, NC, and Beth Severson (Ron Russell) of Bradenton, FL; step-grandchildren, Sarah Schubick, Jessica Schubick, Alexandra Severson (Eric Pullen,) Griffin Severson, Sam (Alexis) Severson, Jake (Dayena) Severson and great step-grandchildren, Emmalynee Hunt, Betty Jan Severson and Saia Severson.
