Gloria Bright Obituary

Gloria Jean Bright of Cedar Hill, Texas born January 18, 1954, in Charleston West Virginia was welcomed home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Bright, who left this world on June 11, 2005, her mother Virginia Lovejoy, sister Connie Carty, brother Charles Lovejoy, two nieces Sherry Arismendez and Teresa Esquivel, and nephew Justin Lovejoy. She leaves behind her four daughters Jean Burton, Charlotte Alexander, Connie Chenette and Tabatha Bright, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her partner of 17 years, Frank Mannino. She is also survived by her brothers Curtis Lovejoy of Midlothian, Ronnie Lovejoy of Mesquite, and sister Carol Gonzales of Waxahachie. She leaves behind along with numerous friends and relatives, too many to mention. Her beloved dog Oreo was put to rest the following day and was cremated. He will be buried at a later date. She was loved by everyone and will truly be missed. We will cherish her memories forever. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12th at Jaynes Memorial Chapel, 811 S. Cockrell Hill Road in Duncanville and funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 13th. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Everyone is welcome to join us in the celebration of Gloria Jean's life at the reception to follow at Ojeda's Mexican Restaurant (her favorite), 2109 N. Hampton Rd, DeSoto, Texas.
