Gloria Ann "Dolly" Baker, 83, of Jones Run Community, Lumberport, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was born in Armstrong County, PA, April 8, 1936, a daughter of the late Clarence Alexander and Helen Marie Unger Rush. Surviving are six children, Wayman Baker, Jr., Lumberport, Sheri Belinda Hutson, Bridgeport, September Denise Ketterman, Lumberport, Eugene Forrest Baker and his wife Connie, Lumberport, Frank Darren Baker and his wife Candy, Fairmont, Lenora Marie Dotson and her husband Charles, Shinnston. Dolly will be missed by her grandchildren, Amanda Swiger and her husband J.R., Daniel Baker and his wife Mary, Afton Aman and her husband Jeff, Brandie Moore and her husband Curtis, Nathaniel Joel Ketterman and his wife Nicole, Brandon Baker and his wife Rebbekah, Aubrey Conley and her husband Chad, Alyssa Baker, Calvin Dotson, 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Buddy Lynn Baker, one grandson, Eugene Forrest Baker, II, a daughter-in-law, Deborah Baker, and two brothers, Clarence Rush, Jr. and Robert Rush. Dolly was formerly employed as a housekeeper at the United Hospital Center for approximately 20 years, but spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a charter member of the Jones Run Church for 51 years. She sang in the choir, was involved with Ladies Fellowship, Vacation Bible School and various other groups in the church. Dolly enjoyed reading her bible and doing embroidery and quilting. She gave many items to family and friends and embroidered numerous baby quilts. She loved most spending time with any member of her large family. In keeping with Dolly's wishes, cremation services were provided. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Jones Run Church, Lumberport, WV, on Saturday, June 1, at 11am.
