South Paris - Glenice Reilly, age 88, passed away on September 7, 2023, at the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris. She was born on August 6, 1935, to Walter and Evangeline Harding. Glenice went to area schools and later married Owen Robert Reilly, and they had five children. Owen passed away in 1964 leaving Glenice to be a stay-at-home mom. Later in life she worked at Market Square Health Care for 25 years, until her retirement. Glenice is predeceased by her husband Owen, sons Craig Reilly, Rick Reilly, and special grandson Travis Grant. She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Newell, Karen Farrington and Diane Presby; her grandchildren, Cassandra (Rob) Farrington, Adam and (Whitney) Newell, Brandon and (Shella) Reilly, Shauni and (Brad) Crosby, and Tayla and (Ryann) Hewins, and nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Maine Veterans Home for taking exceptional care of our mom. A graveside service will take place on Saturday September 16, 2023, at 2:00 p. m. in the Riverside Annex Cemetery in South Paris. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 45 Main St. , South Paris.

Bridgton - Franklin L. Pechnik, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2023 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born June 5 1936 in South Paris, Maine the youngest of 6 children of Joseph and Mary (Stojan) Pechnik. Frank attended the local school system played football in high school and worked with his family in in their mica mines during his childhood. He then went on to complete his bachelor's degree in finance from University of Maine Orono College. He joined the United State Army and proudly served his country. While on a leave with the army Frank was given the opportunity to travel worldwide. An experience he spoke of often. Frank started his heavy equipment sales career with Ingersoll Rand. He became the top sales for heavy equipment on the east coast. He later furthered his career with Hedge and Mathis and CR Wood. Frank started his own heavy sales equipment sales company Crasco Inc in his late 40's. Frank loved nature. Fly Fishing was his avid passion. He traveled all over the country to find his trout and salmon holes. From Alaska to Cobb's Camps Frank could be found by the streams in his camper or with friends and family flying into remote destinations to fish in the wilderness. He married Joan Kaznosky on August 6, 1960, and they spent 63 beautiful years together traveling all over the world yet coming back home to MA & ME to enjoy their family and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Pechnik, his beloved son David Franklin Pechnik and his cherished grandson Joshua David Bonnell. Sisters Christina Kelly Lillian Daniels Brothers Stanley Pechnik and William Pechnik. He leaves to cherish in memory his loving wife Joan (Kaznosky) Pechnik Daughter Susan Bonnell Daughter in law Leslie Goes Pechnik. Beloved sister Chickie Tuttle Grandchildren Austin Bonnell Makenzie Pechnik and Delaney Pechnik and many nieces and nephews whom he adored. The family will greet friends on Friday December 15, 2023, from 4-7 p. m. with military honors, at the Chandler Funeral Home 8 Elm St Bridgton. South Paris - Vaughn Philip Estabrook passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023. He was born on February 6th, 1941, a son to Lawrence and Dorothy (Ellis) Estabrook. He was born and raised in Harrison and Durham, graduating from Freeport High School. Vaughn was drafted into the U. S. Army in March 1967. During his time in the Army, Vaughn was stationed in Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado, working as a medic. He also served during the Vietnam War for almost a year, being honorably discharged in 1969 and earning the National Defense Service medal, the Vietnam Service medal and the Vietnam Campaign medal. Vaughn also received a plaque with Airborne wings on it from the 82nd Airborne Division. After his honorable discharge, he went on to work as a painter in the shipyard for Bath Iron Works. He married his loving wife Edna, and the pair had two wonderful children. In life, Vaughn loved spending time with his family and beloved dogs that he has had throughout the years. He was an avid Patriots fan and would never miss a game. He was also was well known for his hot rod - a 1973 Chevy Nova. He loved taking his car to various shows across the state and has won numerous awards and medals for it. Vaughn was a kind, generous and hardworking man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris who showed him exceptional care throughout the years. Vaughn is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Edna and his two children Charles and wife Christina and Victoria Pepin and husband Albert. He also leaves behind his siblings Lawrence Estabrook, Ashley Estabrook and Cheryl Bryon, as well as his grandchildren Charles Estabrook Jr. and wife Denise, Christopher Estabrook and fiance Natasha Brassley and David Estabrook and girlfriend Mackenzie Rodrigue. Last, he leaves behind his adoring great grandchildren Alayna, Carrigan and Emmett. "Windham Donald Louis Miller, 83, died Wednesday August 30, 2023 at Market Square Healthcare in South Paris. He was born December 12, 1939 in Portland, a son of Louis and Bertha (Oliver) Miller. Don married Janice (Upton) Miller May 16, 1959, when they were both 19 years old. They were very devoted to each other and needed no one else but each other. Together Don and Janice enjoyed traveling hiking, traveling, and gardening. They almost always had a couple of cocker spaniels the last one being their beloved Cuppa Joe. (He was the color of coffee with cream in it) Don had multiple hobbies including, a huge train set, painting, woodworking, and keeping his yard beautiful. Often when Janice would want a piece of furniture or cabinet Don would go downstairs to his woodshop and build it. Don had a 28-year career with McDonald\u0027s starting at their Portland, St John Street location as a crew person in 1965 and quickly moved up the ranks to an area supervisor. After many years with McDonald's Dad bought Lakeland Variety in North Windham. Upon selling Lakeland Dad bought the Yankee Steamer Diner located across the street and ran it as the Yankee Steamer and then as Miller's Diner. He really enjoyed working with people. Don was predeceased by his parents and wife. He is survived by his children, Melinda Thompson, and Michael Miller and his wife Dianna; grandchildren, Brianna Day and her husband Nicholas, Alex Thompson and his wife Amanda, Tucker Miller, Cody Miller and his wife Ali; great grandchildren, Connor Day, Bailey Miller, Henry Day, and Lucas Day; and siblings, Barbara Miller, Thomas Miller and his wife Kathy, and Ida Engelman and her husband Rick. South Paris, ME - Lee Roy J LeBlanc, 78, of Rumford, Maine passed away peacefully at the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris, Maine on August 7, 2023. He was born on November 29, 1944 in Rumford Maine one of 11 children to the late Leandre "Lee" and Theresa (Arsenault) LeBlanc. He attended Rumford Schools and was a proud Veteran of the U. S. Army. He loved playing guitar and singing at local events, dancing with his beloved wife Yvette and especially good old fashioned kitchen parties. Lee Roy was known for his fun loving and charismatic personality. He was always joking with his grandchildren and charming all the ladies. Lee Roy is a well-known local musician and encouraged many in his family to play. He took his grandson Zachary Hodge and many other nephews under his wing and encouraged them to pursue their musical careers and build their confidence. Lee Roy was a very proud Father and Grandfather to his son Timmy and his grandchildren. On October 25, 2003, Lee Roy married his former high school sweetheart, Yvette (Martineau) in Rumford, Maine. They enjoyed 20 years of dancing, camping, picking parties, travelling and just loving life. Besides his wife Yvette he is survived by his son Timmy and his wife Ashly of Clermont, Florida, his four grandchildren, Kyle, Cameryn, Natalya and Brayden. He also leaves behind his siblings Jean Babineau of Manchester, NH, Gerry Parent, of Manchester, NH, Dennis LeBlanc and partner Sue Welch of Rumford, Don LeBlanc and wife Linda of Rumford, Roger LeBlanc of Westbrook, Rita LeBlanc of Manchester, NH, Debbie Berube and her husband Norman of Manchester, NH, Patricia Savageau and Husband Norman of Manchester, NH, as well as his step children Tina Hodge of Oakland, Carrie Colley and husband Mike of Norway, Pam Cunningham and husband Dana of Saco, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Richard LeBlanc and David LeBlanc, brother-in-law of the late Leo Babineau and Frank Parent, and stepfather of the late Eric Penney.
