Glendle "Sonny" Garrison passed away peacefully at his home on September 9, 2023. He was born to Arthur Burton Garrison and Mertle Mcall on April 19, 1930 in Searcy, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and traveling. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Glendle Wayne Garrison, and two sisters, Maxine Garrison Wright and Nancy Garrison Hackworth. He is survived by his wife, Lovetta Sullivan Garrison, grandson, Jacob Garrison (Emily) granddaughter, Mackenzie Green (Tyler) of Cabot, great granddaughters, Madalyn Simon, Caroline Green, and Wren Garrison, one brother, Joe Garrison (Leta), and a host of nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 a. m. at West Race Baptist Church in Searcy, Arkansas. Cremation arrangements provided by Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett, Arkansas.

Billy Prewitt

Billy Ronald Prewitt went home to be the Jesus on November 21, 2023. Billy was born on March 5, 1936. Billy was born in Benham, Kentucky to William and Mabel Prewitt. He married Janett Ledbetter on December 22, 1956. This year would have been 67 years of marriage. Together, they raised two sons, Ronald and Donald. Billy and Janett lived in Central Michigan where he spent 50 years working as a minster and Sunday school teacher for years and retiring from the City of Kalamazoo. After his retirement, Billy and Janett moved to Arkansas. Billy's love for his grandchildren centered around ice cream, milkshakes, donuts and fishing. When he was not with his second love, Janett, he was down at the ponds with his with his third love, fishing! His first love is Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. Doris Prewitt

Doris Janette Prewitt went home to be the Jesus on November 18, 2023. Janette was born on October 7, 1934. Janette was born in Wilson, Arkansas to Naomi Ledbetter Hart. They soon moved to Central Michigan where she spent 50 years, graduating from Battle Creek Central Highschool. She married Billy Prewitt on December 22, 1956. This year would have been 67 years of marriage. Together, they raised two sons, Ronald and Donald. Janette work at Kalero in Kalamazoo, as an accounting, bookkeeper and payroll clerk. Janette spent numerous hours involved in the First Assembly of God, their home church for many decades in Kalamazoo. After her retirement, Janette and Billy moved to Arkansas. Janette's most fulfilling jobs were; Sister, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Her Grandchildren were most precious to her. She loved spending time on her front porch swing, cooking with them, praying and teaching them the word of God. Her love and compassion for others was felt by so many. One of her great joys was always going on the women's retreat with her sister, Joyce and niece, Cindy. Janette will be greatly missed by so many but the most missed by her sister, Joyce Davis. Louis Stine

Age - 88

Louis E. Stine was born on May 25, 1935 in Des Arc, Arkansas to William O. Stine and Frances Loch Stine. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen and his children, two sons and one daughter, Willie Stine (Marie), Romy Morgan (Phil) and Johnny Stine, six grandchildren - Joe Dacus, Weston Dacus, Kendall Morgan, Megan Stine, Logan Stine and Dawson Stine, and six great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. He served 4 years in the USMC then lived in California, working at North American Aviation, Innertial Navigation Systems Division while going to school at night at CSU-Fullerton. Eventually, he returned to his beloved home state of Arkansas where he completed his Bachelors of Science degree. He will be remembered as a knowledgeable, helpful and friendly employee of the Searcy Post Office for 26 years. Even in retirement, he got up early every day and had a project to work on; whether it be yard work, refinishing furniture, or repairing appliances - he stayed busy. He was also a life-long lover of playing softball and volleyball. He will be interred at White County Memorial Gardens. As per Lou's wishes, no service is planned.
