Glenda Fox-Pender Obituary

Glenda James Fox-Pender, 75, of Byron, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her residence. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 3:00 p. m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Born in Cushing, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Maurice James and Mary Louise Andrews James. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larre' Craig Fox, an infant daughter, Cynthia Yvonne Fox, an infant sister, Alice Raye James and stepdaughter, Sharon Spillers. She was a retired Medical Insurance Authorization Specialist and enjoyed sewing, crafting, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Joe Pender Sr. ; sons Tony Fox (Kathy) of Forsyth and Jason Fox (Tara) of Eatonton; stepson Joseph Pender Jr. of Monroe; brother Wayne James (Veda) of Byron; sisters Mary Fosse (Howard) of Story City, Iowa and Helen Hancock (David) of Comer; Thirteen grandchildren and Five great grandchildren with Three on the way.
