A private Graveside Service for Glen Pearson, age 68, of Bonham, Texas will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 3:00 p. m. at Willow Wild Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Glen passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Methodist Medical Center Richardson. Glen Wilson Pearson was born October 1, 1954 in Bonham, Texas. He is the son of Clyde Wilson Pearson and Winnie Bertine Barker Pearson. He was an adventurous soul who loved motorcycles, and enjoyed riding his 1980 Honda CB750-F in his free time. He was hard-working, loving and dedicated to his job as Maintenance Technician at Johnson Controls-JcPenney before retiring in 2015. Glen was a great husband, and friend. He took great pride in sharing the financial responsibilities of the home, and made sure his financialresponsibilities were always taken care of. Glen was honest, trustworthy and responsible. He enjoyed playing with the family dog (Benito) and had a silly personality. He loved listening to the local alternative rock radio station, watching movies, and spending quality time with his wife. After retirement, he became an avid bird watcher, and nature lover. He visited the local library to learn more about his interests, started to go to church and accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. Glen is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles Wilson Pearson, and sisters, Glenda Jean Pearson, and Brenda Kay Posey . When Glen married Amanda on March 2nd, 2001 they became inseparable. Glen learned to speak some Spanish and could communicate with his wife well despite the language differences. Glen became step father to Amanda's teenage daughter Monica and treated her as his own. When life got hard, Glen and Amanda always had each other. Glen will be dearly missed. He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Amanda Pearson, brother, Larry Clyde Pearson and wife Carol of Richardson Hills, daughters, Ashley Pearson, Candace Pearson Clark, step daughter, Monica Wood and husband Allen, step grandchildren, Isabelle Woodand Michael Wood, Niece, Dione Pettegrew, and Nephew Michael Wright. As life continues, Glen's memory will carry on forever, until all his loved ones canbe reunited one day.
